    If you are in K-Pop, it would be meaningful for you to react to K-pop in 90's, from Seo Tae-ji, to H.O.T, especially, I highly recommend H.O.T, G.O.D, and so on.

    I've been a metal fan all my life, and I actually became a Kpop fan in 2010 when Wonder Girls released 2 Different Tears. And I can from metal to Kpop without blinking an eye. Slipknot to TWICE Metallica to Girls Generation Mamamoo to Megadeth BTS to Sepultura It's all the same to me at this point! 😉👍

    If you want clean vocals the entire time or most of the time, then some recommendations are bands like Unleash the Archers, Hammerfall, Dragonforce, Nightwwish, etc. And the power metal subgenera is a good thing to take a look at if clean vocals and musician's who can play really fast are what you seek

    You have to listen to Avenged Sevenfold, they're amazing, I recommend Nightmare as a first listen. Another great Band is Sabaton, Bismarck shoiuld be your first Song, mostly because the Video is their best and their standard for Videos is high already. And of course you need to know metal classics from Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Metallica.

    Wait until you see stuff like death metal and black metal such as dark funerals video for the song my funeral and belphegor's videos for baphomet and Necrodaemon terrorsathan. If you can find it the video for hymne til doden by carpathian forest is definitely something but not for the faint hearted.

    As someone who is a metal head and likes some KPop, I recommend to you, BABYMETAL. They fuse JPop and Metal into Kawaii Metal and it's amazing. Any song would do really, and most songs are actually better live with them, but I think you'd like them, some metal and something familiar as well. They even have dances for all of their songs. :3 I LOVE SLIPKNOT, and I can see you appreciate them as well, but I thought you'd like to see something kind of familiar while exploring a new genre as well. Also not metal, but rock, BAND-MAID, another Japanese band, but they are an all woman hard rock band that is just amazing. And more in the KPop realm, you might have already heard of them/listen to them already, but just in case, Dreamcatcher, they like to fuse metal/rock and KPop as well. Just some suggestions, I thought you might like. ^^ PURPLE YOU BTW. 💜

      @pauljacobi340 4 дня назад

      I get it but, at the same time, metal in general is still niche unless you're an artist like Metallica or Iron Maiden. I'm 55 and my friends range from early 20s to 70s and with the exception of those that listen to hard rock/metal, most at best only know the name Slipknot and to be fair, many don't at all. With those folks I'll toy with them a bit and play something like Stone Sour/Corey's version of "Wicked Game" or Corey's solo acoustic version of "Snuff". And they're like "Damn! He has a great voice" ... hehehehe cue up something like "Spit it Out" or "Sulfur" and go, "Same guy" :D

    • @alexis7-
      @alexis7- 3 дня назад

      @@pauljacobi340 i agree… i have a lot of friends who like all types of rock/metal so i guess i’m pretty exposed to the scene but i think the classics is a must. so i try to show as many songs as possible to younger people (i'm 25). 😅

    Slipknot is kinda right in the middle of easy access + deep end heavy. Other bands to get you into metal would probably be Black Sabbath ("Iron Man" riff is pretty popular), Metallica (one of the Big 4 of thrash and with some easy access songs like "One"), something from power/symphonic/goth metal genres for more operatic vocals, Pantera (groove metal) or Korn (nu metal) for something groovy, and for something more extreme, the easiest band aside from Slipknot may be Allegaeon, which is melodic death metal (not quite there with the deep end stuff). Want some ladies? Jinjer, Arch Enemy, Nervosa, Crypta (both Nervosa and Crypta shared members), Epica, or if you want something ballsy and pop-ish, Sumo Cyco or Scene Queen. The "deep end" would probably be Meshuggah, Cattle Decapitation, Cannibal Corpse, Lorna Shore, and Slaughter to Prevail.

    Jinjer - "Pisces" Lorna Shore - "Pain Remains" Periphery - "Wildfire" or "Reptile" Babymetal - "Ratatata"
