Good and honest video. I bought an new Interceptor in 2022 (2020 mod) and sold it a year later and bought an HD 883. I liked the RE Interceptor but thought it was heavy, top heavy. Compared to the HD, the HD had the weight further down towards the ground. The Interceptor had a good sound and was nice to drive over long distances. Things I think were bad about the RE were the rear brake and the front light. Otherwise it was a nice bike. If you are going to buy a new bike, you should buy it from a good and established dealer. A rogue dealer will not give you good service if something goes wrong. A good dealer will usually fix things quickly if they have a good workshop.

Your lack of self-awareness in appreciating that the issues you're experiencing may just be unique to you (and the result of human error i.e. poor cleaning) and not reflective of the bike/brand itself is pretty astounding. This also clearly shows in the comments. Your criticisms also seem to completely lack the context of price and value for money. RE has made the right compromises where it counts for 10K AUD. This includes sacrificing the quality of the tyres, brakes, and suspension (which are all perfectly acceptable btw) for an incredible engine and great chassis. This bike is incredible for the price!

I have a Royal Enfield Continental GT650 in Rocker Red. So far, I have added quilted knee pads with a faint red thread, engine bars, centre stand and a black front fork brace.

As for washing your bike with a pressure washer, i do it all the time, i just keep the tip well back from the bike to make sure i don't mess with the paint, but you know people find something wrong no matter what we do so don't worry, just enjoy yourself riding the bike , good video

First mode 2-1 Stinger exh !!! I'm American and have had Harleys Suzuki & KTM 620 Duke bike however I'm getting a new Apex Grey 650 Jan 1 been saving to pay cash. I have already purchased stinger exh Bar end mirrors Black indicators !!! I'm past all the overpowered offerings we Americans tend to purchase this Continental is perfect and the fuel injection will be a welcomed offering because I live in Western NC mtns.

I been riding for over 30 years, the interceptor 650 is a fantastic bike, I own one and love it, maybe you should get another bike, obviously not suitable for you, Crashing on a road like that, I wouldn’t advise you getting a more powerful bike, maybe downsize to a 125 and maybe a bit of advanced training,

You run in a bike properly before you get its optimal performance. Even tyres will be best running after 100’s of miles. Thats what it is, 🍩.😂. Stupid riders blaming the bike.

Also agree with RE build quality issues, my 2020 Himalayan was probably the worst screwed together bike I have ever owned, and that's from someone who has owned Jawa and CZ's. Rear suspension was devoid of grease, clocks misted up, rear caliper seized, gear indicator stopped working and it ground to a halt two days outside the warranty period with a duff fuel injector. Also was meant to have had a recall for the calipers but RE weren't interested when I asked the dealer despite the bike having a full dealer service history. All this on a bike that was less than two years old with less than 4000 mies on it, replaced it with a 20 year old R1150GS with over 60000 miles that hasn't missed a beat two years later. The real shame is that I REALLY liked that bike, it was absolutely lovely to ride and potter about on, but it was just so badly built I wasn't prepared to continuously throw money at it.

Couldn't disagree any more with your assessment of this bike. Being an owner of exactly the same bike I am delighted with it. I think the quality vs value for money is exceptional. Having owned bikes from Ducati, Honda, Aprilia, Triumph and more I would say relatively speaking the bike, for the price is first class. If you are going to be as picky as this go and buy a Brough Superior 👍

Hey mate you just are doing an unfair trial at this bike wich i grant you is far from being the best but are a good bike. Mine after two years has not had any problems and if you take care for it all is ok. I really don't understand.

Sorry but I think this review is utter bollocks …. These bikes are great value for what you pay…. How many bikes have you had to compare this with ?….. I’ve had about 40 bikes over the last 40 years and the continental fairs well in comparison … suspension and handling is great

I don’t see anything wrong with the way you cleaned your GT in the last video. Some peeps get hysterical when they see the pressure washer come out. What the uninitiated seem to not understand, the further away you keep the nozzle, the less pressure hits the surface & of course as you understand, not to point the end of the wand at certain areas. It’s okay to use a light spray to rinse away soap and degreaser suds. It’s obvious the way you cleaned/polished the right side engine cover, you take diligent care of your steed. Oh!, and loved the way you blew off the cretin that called you a fatso. Some people’s kids
