how dare life get in the way of your crocheting..chuckle.. If I was making this dress I would have started from the center and worked my way out either side..that way, if you need to add rows they'll be facing the right way AND the colour additions will be the same..

Iif you can’t tell from my multiple posts, I am addicted to Noro yarns amd was also gifted with a large quantity of the stuff.

Keep them away from moths. Keep them sealed and throw in cedar balls

Noro silk garden is so nice, silk, mohair, and wool. 3 weight, nice for shawls, neckwear, hats, light jackets.

They may be the same color,but are they the same dye lot? Noro yarn will have very different dye lots.

If it breaks that easily maybe it's yarn rot. For how long did your aunt have those skeins hanging around? Or maybe the issue was from before and it was improperly handled before your aunt got it.

love the video! sadly your hourly wage is lower than what you calculated, you would have to take 108 - the cost of all 4 yarns (im assuming around $30) which would make your hourly wage only about $11. this is the thing that sucks with crochet (I sell my crochet items too), if you price your items based on a living wage, people feel like it's too expensive and won't buy it (unless you have made a reputation for yourself) and if you price it at what people are willing to pay, crochet can't be your only source of income. I love complicated crochet projects, but (most) people just aren't willing to pay for the time they take to make, so to make money, I have to crochet simpler designs that don't interest me. Have a nice day, and I hope your crochet business grows :)
