Bell Riot Boost Helmet Review

Just picked up this great-looking open face helmet from Bell. It's tough to find a helmet that's cheap with good quality and great looks. I think this Bell has the right mix.
VT Route 17 - Appalachian Gap
Просмотров 6924 года назад
A motorcycle ride across the Appalachian Gap in the Green Mountains on a warm summer day with light traffic. Twisties through a lush green forest. A thrumming V-twin underneath with azure blue skies above. Does it get any better in New England? Music by Mowe (Chasing Clouds) and Autograf (Running).
Triumph Bonneville T120 Review

Demo ride review of Triumph's fantastic retro naked - the Bonneville T120. This bike definitely looks the part. But is it just another poseur? Or does it have the goods to back up its looks?
River Crossing on a KLX 250

How hard could it be to cross a little river to get to some trails on the other side? Apparently, a lot harder than it would seem.

After re-finishing 2 valves and buying 2 new valves, we install the cylinder head back on the bike. Step-by-step video with descriptions. We downloaded the Kawasaki service manuals there is the KLR 600 manual and the supplemental KLR 250 manual. They were helpful but you may be able to get away without them with this video.
Ducati Multistrada 950 Review

Got a chance to demo a MS 950 and I wanted to compare it to my Suzuki V-Strom 1000. I've always thought of the V-Strom as a poor man's Multistrada. Let's see if the price premium of the Ducati is worth it.
Dueling Dynas: Harley Fat Bob vs. Low Rider S
Просмотров 18 тыс.7 лет назад
More substantial than a bare-bones Sportster and not as narrowly focused as the V-Rod, these two bikes are nice options for those who want a dash of sport with their style. Which bike is for you depends on how you want to ride. Quick look around the Weirs Beach Laconia, NH area.

Speed Limits Why They Are What They Are
I ended up buying a 05' KLR250 with 4,200 miles for $400. Granted, it's not in the best condition, but I got it running poorly then I crashed on it & now I'm rebuilding it again and properly, so it's gonna run perfectly this time, so I get riding safe this time!
2024, where you at! Still on this vstrom?
O yeah! 66K miles and still loving it. I started making another video on it just haven't been able to finish it.
@ that good to hear…just picked up a 2018,vstrom an plan on putting sum miles on her…thanks for responding back💪
what do you think about reliability on these bikes of these years?
Very reliable. I'm up to 66K miles now. Mostly just routine maintenance.
@@americanflyer4126 Thank you
Why does it idle at 3200? Is the gas stuck or something?
I have this EXACT 2018 Moto Guzzi V7iii Stone! It's my 1st motorcycle and I love it! My rear shocks, saddle, and a few more things the 1st owner meticulously installed are aftermarket. It's a very quirky machine, but hey... I'm a New Yorker who owned a Saab!
Im considering buying a 2008 dl1000 with 70,000 miles. Is that high mileage and should i be concerned? What can i expect in terms of maintenance and issues that this bike faces especially at that number of miles?
Mine has 65K miles and still going strong. Make sure the valves have been adjusted a couple of times, steering head is good, forks aren't leaking and you should be good.
I have an 05 with 90k, if you didnt see the # on the odometer you would never know, it rides like the day it rolled off the production line, take care of it and it will go forever
So unprepared. No idea about hp, type of drive etc. Why making people spend time to watch this? Happy for you for your 1st Guzzi ride. Other than that it was useless.
Turdy time! Lol
Have you had any problems with the kick start? I’m having trouble with mine. Only starts if I push it
Yes, the muffler was jammed up with something--I don't even remember what. After that it was OK.
Watching in 2024, going to look at a 06 strom today. 20k miles on it.
What tires do you have on it out of curiousity?
One of my favorite roads. Did it on a KLR with knobbies west to east, and several passes on a '79 CB750. Probably a character flaw, but I've never stopped at the Overlook... Edit: forgot to mention that I rode today, 29° Feb 27, 2024
what kind of boots are those, bro?
Very old Hein Gericke touring boots. I now wear Gore-Tex TCX ADV boots. Not as comfortable but more protection and waterproof.
They look super comfy
Probably picking up a klr250 this afternoon, needs a little work, but i see you have VT vids, and have just subbed, since I'm an ADVer in bratt...
Is it worth selling 650 To buy 1000?
Naw, I actually think the 650 is a better overall package.
Had a DR350 almost impossible to start when warm, so yra a pain in the ass.
Ho! Ho! I was driving over this gap in my Porsche, soaking up the scenery when three fellows on motorcycles rode by me! Memory Highway!
Hard starting on the old KLR s is because the flywheel loses its magnetism and the engine has to turn over faster to create spark - also the auto decompresser wears and slows it down on electric starters ! Took 2 years of pain to find that out !!!
How did you replace the chain? That was the part I needed to see lol
I have the Delkevic exhaust on my dirtbike and I have to say that thing would drive me nuts on a touring bike! NO WAY, I agree with you
Great video... but Bruce Springsteen HAS to go!!! I had to watch the video like a silent movie because I was afraid Bruce's nasty voice might pop in! 🤣🤣
What about vibes? Some say that they are quite annoying.
Great bike. I've got the same 2004 1000. Bought new, and still looks and rides as new with about 21k miles. I've test ridden many bikes over the years, and this is the best all around bike. Very versatile and comfortable. Still love it.
Enjoyed every minute
Do you still have this bike ?
No, long gone. Sold it for $500 with 91K miles.
with that head gasket and torque you applied i am sure you will have pressure leak to the cooling system, and will have overheating
Bought a 2002 dl1000 in 2008 and after 4days left Athens to Milan, Corsica and back still have it. Never opened the engine.
what a fucking pussy crybaby complainer. stay on road if you cant handle simple gravel road with puddles
Good to know it fits. Looking for a plate for my '88.
I just bought it today....they gonna deliver wednesday....Im very excited.....😍😊😊😇
Finally I took it.....its something .....
I bought one a few weeks ago. 21 years old with very low mileage. I think it's a good all-rounder.
Put rubber bands or tape on your swivel extension to limit how far it can bend.
I heard there are 4 cylinder engines with good torque at low rpm too (e.g. Bandit 1200/1250).
So, here it's Sept of 2022 watching a video review of an 08 Vstrom in 2016.. I gotta say, it's still relevant. I had a 04 DL1K about 8 years ago for 6 years, terrific machine as American Flyer has demonstrated.. since, I've been through a Bandit 1200s, 1250s and a Miata- a bike with doors ;) just this month, picked up an 06 DL650 (Weestom) and I must say, it's really an ideal bike, also still relevant especially if folks don't have tons of cash for the newer stuff.. $3K +/- can get you something totally usable and actually 80% as good as the current offerings at multiple of thousands more, if you don't mind not having abs, ride modes, etc..also they are known for stunning reliability.. the 650 does, really well, it does lack that hard 1000cc pull, but it really does quite good, plenty for traffic.. will hold 80mph just fine with a decent reserve, just won't freight train up to 120+++ like the big brother.. I spend less time managing the bike and more time enjoying the ride..
Better get zinc oil that's why cams are scarce!!
The clutch suffers from chudder horrible sound and suzuki still ain’t fixed it
Bam !!
Iv had a few of these in this motor/chassis including the '18 with EFI. I think its based off the 1995 platform still but still the same motor/suspension and reliability. The BEST power mod for cheap on these is sprockets. AT LEAST swap the front to a 13t for street riding. I had 14/48 with a 100-100 Kenda Trakmaster and it was great for fast trail riding and general exploring, plenty of power. Im going to look for '06-07 this winter for a project to tinker with clean up, for another dual sport since Im so familiar with them and have a KDX sorted out for my enduro rides.
Turdy time 😅😅.
Your voice is really cool
I hear that clunk into second gear!! My 2002 does the same
This graphic looks like one’s wearing pair of trunks on a head. No hating, just noticed.
I had a 1993 94 it was a really good bike lots of fun times very reliable and solid
Have you put an adjustable chain tensioner on it?
great review. laughed my ass off
I just "discovered" Track Days (with Penguin Racing) last summer. The most fun I've ever had on a motorcycle! Looking forward to this season starting back up in 4 weeks. Will you be going back??? Keep yourself safe! 😃👍❤🏍 Randy
i love 😮 my fj 09 and she will take off on you dont be deceived by her looks
Awesome video! Looking at getting a 250 klr
And all so how can you judge a bike when you have no clue what your ridding.
You keep saying In line twin .it's a Air cooled V twin.from the bolt
This guy has missed his calling. I'd listen to him doing a review on a spatula. He's pretty funny.
