I dont see too many people playing as FiA in combat ops. There should be a pinned combat ops scenario after you click play. The map is on Everon but you play as the FiA. The main difference is load outs are at safe houses scattered around the map. So you have to unlock them to access more weapons. You can fast travel between safe houses once unlocked.

It’s a 1000meters in game. If it’s the same as the iZurvive dayz map. If you zoom in the small squares are 100 meters. It also helps with sniping. Nice vid. I do love land nav… now. I sucked at it while in boot camp!!

How do you get away with those soldiers walking right past you without being seen? Every time I get anywhere near enemy soldiers that close they always see me :-(. I only have the Level 1 sneaking suit, which helps some. It's my first time playing it too, so I'm guessing you've got higher level gear.

I've been playing dayZ since 2019 and I've known this since Arma 2, this game is amazing and I'll never quit it

I bought Dayz at 2014 and I still play with this masterpiece. I hope there are other veterans out there. Edit: I forgot to mention that I played Arma 2 dayz a lot before 2014.

I uninstalled it yesterday, after having one last go(60 hours). As a solo, i could survive just fine. Taking on 1-3 zombies at once, fine. Then i get to military areas and get swarmed by 10+ zombies. Even using a silenced pistol, they aggro. I cant trap them in a building because i get stuck on them and knocked out. So yeah the zombies made me quit.

i have 2 friends, both very good at dayz. And i have seen them loot an ij from the nearest town,run to the airfield and come out with a full kit in less than an hour. Multiple times as well. So kitting quickly is possible lol

I think the thing that ruins dayz in community is there’s a way to see where people have travelled on the map within the last 20min or so it destroys the point of making a hidden base in the forest or bases in general
