The super-sped-up version of my ZBrush sculpt of Nightcrawler. He looks better when he's moving too fast to be seen, I think. Music from #Uppbeat (free for Creators!): uppbeat.io/t/ra/let-good-times-roll License code: VWEYGO5V2XDIXEQH

Jazzy fast sculpting! I need to find more music options I think. My sculpting might benefit from more trombone. Music from #Uppbeat (free for Creators!): uppbeat.io/t/genuine-colour/borrowed-perspective License code: HXXXX18ZQNYSJJXY

Everyone probably does a Wolverine at some point, right? Sculpting Goku - The Super Speedified Version

We've taken the two-hour Goku Sculpting video and collapsed it all the way down to 5 measly minutes! With jazzy background music! So order yourself a ludicrously overpriced coffee drink and it'll be just like you're in a trendy cafe! With Goku! In this video we'll be taking a base mesh (link below) and turning it into a quick sculpture of Goku! This video is really more about ideas and techniques that work for me, and may be useful to you; a fully-detailed and finalized sculpture would take quite a bit longer, but hopefully you'll get some ideas and tips from this session! If you'd like the custom User Interface I used, here's a link:...
Rough Cut - Opening shot
Просмотров 7810 месяцев назад
Just a roughish cut of the introductory scene of the short I'm working on - there's some establishing stuff ahead of this I'm not done so it will have more context but this is the part that tries to establish the characters and the basic problem the story's built around.
Creature from a Cog
Просмотров 114Год назад
Sometimes you just want to try something. So I took a cog/machine part/sprocket thing from the "IMM SpaceShip" brush in ZBrush and tried to turn it into something organic. In my more ambitious moments I think I might try to make my way through all the parts and see where I end up, but for now I've only got this one-eyed shrimpy guy. Music by bensound.
Making a 3D-Printed Spawn Comic Book Cover
Просмотров 368Год назад
I'm having a lot of fun 3D printing my sculpts, but I had to get creative because I'm all out of shelf space. So, 3D printed comic book covers! I have plenty of walls! This has the added benefit of keeping them safe from the destructive paws of my cat Ruby, whose criticisms of my work typically take the form of him knocking them to the floor and shattering them into pieces. He's harsh but fair....

Hi, can you sell 3d stl files? I really like it and want to buy it
Hello and thank you! Yes, I have the STLs for sale on my Sketchfab page here: sketchfab.com/3d-models/spawn-issue-no-1-cover-cf2536811ce3403697768eab238b2c59
您好,您可以出售 3d stl 文件吗?
SPOOOOOOOOOONNNNNN!!!!!!!!
This looks like it could be a PS1 games intro sequence FMV.
Looks so much like a ps1, Dreamcast, or 90’s PC game. Wish I had a game like this back then, unfortunately the tick didn’t make it past sega genesis and super nes.
Doof looks like he really needs to go to the toilet and perry looks like a weird human animal hybrid and the music and animation makes the truly goofy and the true death stare at 0:10
Brilliant
Yes.
Which version of your newly zremeshed mesh do you export, I mean you have a high active points. so don't you still have a really high mesh? Little confused.
Now that I have a version with clean topology, I can make UVs for it and generate a normal map that contains the hi-res information in it. I can then export the lowest-res version but retain the detail from the higher subdivision levels by applying the normal map in Maya, Blender, etc. I hope that makes sense!
@@BradGroatman Thanks! You could also decimate and then retopo in 3dCoat, for example, to get clean game/animation ready meshes, then bring back to Zbrush for final work!
Its work! tysm ❤🔥❤🔥
That smooth division and delete lower is a great tip! Brilliant video mate - Thanks again - May the Force be with you Master !!

Always picking up some great tips. Thanks for doing these.
Loving these, so many cool little tips in your approach
That approach to blocking in the hair is a great tip ! Thank you for your time making this 👍
Amazing, what if Re-boot was comic book animated like the tick original series?
Great stuff Brad!
Looking good

Wow these tutorials are amazing ! Thank you for sharing your process ! 👏👏👏👏
The Tick: Neat! I look pretty good in CGI.
WOW !! Great tutorial ! Thank you very much for the time and effort mate 👍
Really well done tutorial of proper workflow. Concise and yet thorough walk through of exactly what the title says.
This is something i wanna see in one of the new seasons
So basically take a Texture Map "Snap Shot" of the Hi-Res model and cover the Lo-Res model with it?🤔
In a sense, yes!
i dont understand, if you wanted it low poly yk for animation or wtv why would you put it back to a high poly?
Because back at the high poly level you can sculpt more details that could then be baked out into normal maps or displacement maps that you could apply to the lower-res model in animation, etc. best of both worlds 🙂
this method is also better for sculpting in high detail because its using a lower poly version technically
maybe you want to export the normal/displacements maps from the highest subdivision level and the mesh from the lowest subdivision level? then add the maps to the mesh in the animation/game software so that the high res details are visible but not actually part of the mesh? ..im trying to understand as well
How has this masterpiece not been recommended to me for 8 years?
Wonderfully made! Deserves many more views and subscribers!
For some reason this was in my watch later and I never put it there…
Epic! Absolutely love this! Been incredible watching this come to life, bit by bit.
Oh I am so on board with this RPG action! Lovely work, sir. I really like the Barbarian design. 😁
Might I recommend Blender. It's more powerful than Maya (not to mention lightweight), does more in one package, free and open source. It's a whole software suite, in one program. Hope this helps.
I forgot to add that the renders are faster.
Blender's a great program but I hate the workflow - it feels so clunky to me without marking menus and the in-window functionality of Maya (it's also because I'm so used to Maya that I'm too stubborn to change :) The biggest hurdle right now is that it's still lagging behind Maya in rigging tools - last I checked it still doesn't have set-driven keys or grouping (collections are different in that they aren't transformable entities the way Maya groups are, which makes rigging so much easier), which is a deal breaker - and I'm really a rigger primarily so it's hard to justify making that leap. I do keep downloading the newest versions of Blender though!
I want a soundtrack
We need more 80s video game back stories... maybe the story of how the same guy owns a bar in Tapper, is logging in Timber, and is trying to knock down dominoes in Domino Man.
this would be really good for like a low fidelity high effort version of this show if they ever rebooted it again and didnt cancel it for the fourth time
THIS IS GENIUS XD would you mind if i put this on my cover music video but with CREDITS!!!
why when i do bake my modl low poly my model transfer detail from hight poly but the model dont stay softing edge,my model mix detail hight poly and low poly togethers?i bring the model from zbrush
That is some glorious modelling skill! Fantastic! I can imagine it being some kind of undiscovered deep sea creature or a mutated bloodsucking insect.
Smile like you MEAN IT!!
This looks like if Tick was a early to mid 90's CGI series and I'm all for it
This definitely needs a comeback! SPOON!!
Epic good creation sir.
I put the ice cream song from tydus over it, it actually fits really well
Time for a remix! 🤣
Precure endings be like:
La Garrapata es fantástica The Tick is Fantastic
Now Imagine Dragon Ball Z Captain Planet or Savage Dragon
Absolutely Amazing
Brilliant!! Love the humour😆
The Text and Title i like to do in Clip Studio Paint, or Illustrator, and then convert it from a PNG to an SVG. SVG's can be turned into Models in Zbrush easy. Blender too.
This has forever changed my life
