The Reality Behind Punk Music!! Reacting to Davey504s Bad Bassist Video Highlighting Sid from SP
I've been wanting to make a Pink music video for a while. I have mentioned in my videos how Punk isn't what it once was. From the meaning and lifestyle to the mentality mindset and culture it is today. Yes we wanted to be accepted for our ways and looks, but we also didn't care what others thought about us. Unlike today where people are trying to force their beliefs but not respect others beliefs. We are all different from different places, we will not all be the same, only have similar thoughts and ideas. Punk has been a make your own way I need no-one kind of idea, today reliance on others seems to be the trick. I don't agree but I am old and set in my ways.

First Time Hearing "Fault Line" by Her Last Sight. Gen X Metal Head Reacts. Another Awesome song
Просмотров 51День назад
This is a melodic metal core masterpiece. it has a slow ballad like feel to it, but is still heavy and hits hard. The riffs are full of hooks and just keep you intrigued as to what's coming next. All the instruments have amazing riffs and fills intertwined in an artistic and very catchy manner. Another great song from this amazing band. original video: ruclips.net/video/2p-nfQFebSg/видео.htmlsi...

Originally from the Sex Pistols, Megadeth and Motel Crew both covered this song, I figured it was time for a modern metal twist with B guitar chugging E standard main guitar, and bass. This is the first song in a long time I've tried putting together like this. Yes I need a lot more practice, and things will only get better. When you take time off it will tend to lose memory and revert back. Consistency of playing will get your skills where they need to be over time. Gear is a comfort and reliability thing. As someone who exclusively listens to Dream Theater and Opeth and the like, I used to share your views EXACTLY as you put them. Having virtuoso musicians on instruments would take the "catchiness" out of pop, unfortunately. If we had MP or Danny Carey orMatt Garstka on drums on pop songs, our attention would 100% not be on singing along or on the vocalist. The repetitiveness of pop music IS what pop music is about. It's not my cup of tea, but I "get it". Think of it as background music. If you have Portnoy play a "background music"-type song, it would no longer be background music lol

    • @respectpartii6302
      @respectpartii6302 3 дня назад

      I can agree that Portnoy or Carey and specially Garstka are overall in a league of their own, but pretty much every musician from a Pop artist's backing band is a virtuoso as well and usually among the best on the scene. You don't land a job as Taylor Swift's drummer if you're not a beast of your own right, even though Matt Bilingslea could play chops all over the place (he is formally jazz trained and grew up with Neil Peart as his idol) he plays tight pocket when touring with Taylor Swift because that's what demanded by the music as you said. We must not believe that the artist the musician plays for defines his ability and skill, because it doesn't.

    Hey, not sure what’s happening with your audio but it sounds a bit like a recording loop where the sound keeps feeding into itself and layering, creating weird phasing and delay. In my headphones I hear your voice more or less in the center but I also hear your voice in the left and right channels as an echo, like a slapback delay. It’s hard to listen to, which is too bad because it seemed like you had some interesting things to say.

    The long scream is something that most LP fans expect her to be able to do as a vocalist for this band. This song showcases her screaming ability and the fact that she can hold that scream for a long time, similar to Chester's. And the big breath after the scream is an artistic choice, they could have edited that out. You should check out the interview with Zach Sang, they talk about this scream. It's 16 seconds on purpose, one second shorter than Chester's in Given Up to honor that achievement.

      @@marcforget33 I can love a song, or a band and not like a member of it, it doesn't make me biased about the song. I love all of Megadeth's stuff unto countdown. I have listened to them since the early 80's, I met Dave in the mid 90's.. my feelings for him have nothing to do with how well structured a song is. and this particular one gets very erratic near the end and broke the format. Started good, ended meh....

      Bro WHAATTT?? rofl.. I'm beyond Honored that you even cared a little bit.. let alone going that step.. My mind is blown, I bow humbly ... thank you so much. I'd love to do a band overview, there isn't that much about them online aside form mainly social media posts. Metal Storm has a bit of general info.
