    This is a very good video because I wasted a lot of time being scared to do certain things and thinking about what I should have done but having negative thoughts held me back. I’ve been a should a could a would tha. But now I’m thinking positive and trying to live for today and think more positive thoughts and not dwelling on my past experiences. Like they say everything happens for a reason and I’ve learned that only you can do what is best for you because tomorrow is not promised. • @CaramelCandy843
    @CaramelCandy843 17 дней назад

    I have had about 8 jobs in my life but I definitely stayed on them longer than you and I sure didn’t quit without having something else lined up 😂. Of course that’s probably because I had 2 mouths to feed and take care of so my situation at the time definitely determine if I could afford to just leave/quit a job. Most of the time the answer was no I couldn’t 😂. But if you’re able and financially stable enough to quit jobs to pursue your dreams then I say go for it. A lot of people my age look at stuff different than you young people we were raised to not quit a job until you have something else lined up. So when you said the older men stayed on a job like they were content it’s probably because their situations where different and they probably thought they were too old to start over so they just stayed at a job that paid their bills. But now it’s more opportunity for people so you don’t have to stay at a job if you’re unhappy. Nowadays jobs are looking to hire because people are leaving jobs more, going back to school or just leaving for better opportunities. If you have a plan and financially stable I definitely say go for it and don’t stay somewhere for years because you’re comfortable. Because a job will replace you in a heartbeat no matter how many years you have been there. Keep a positive mindset ,everyday is not going to be easy ,but keep praying and everything will work out the way it’s supposed to 🥰

    theres a popular meme thats like the pinata example you shared where a miner is mining but its been so long and he hasnt reached anything yet so he turns around and the miner in the next tunnel keeps going and you can see on the side of the image theres a jackpot that the first miner just barely missed because he gave up. i used to have that "just one more" mindset but when looking at that image you see the first miner is older and has probably been working towards that "jackpot" for longer and the other miner is someone whos younger and has more energy and finds the "jackpot" quickly. sometimes its hard to tell when your path in life is to keep fighting towards something yielding few results or if its showing few results because its a sign you shouldnt be there. it really boils down to what are you passionate about and what do you want in life and how much energy youre willing to pour into it to achieve that goal.

Sometimes we looking at someone else life and don’t even know the battles that people may be fighting because we only see what they want us to see. So be thankful of everything no matter how small. This book sounds interesting and maybe helpful for you to learn more about how to succeed in life. Sometimes it’s not that you choose to stay in the poor dad mindset but rather you have responsibilities that keep you from getting where you want to be. You’re to focus on trying to provide a better life for your family which can help them become better than you. The young generation has so much more opportunity to become that rich dad than the older generation. It’s up to them to see that they can become the rich dad and not stay in the poor dad position. Glad to see your reading and trying to get the rich dad success. Look forward to hearing more about this book and the other book you mention.

    I agree it's important for the person to think about what they want and if they'd be more comfortable in a stable job than they would be if they took a risk. especially with the older generation they didn't have the luxury that the younger ones do, having less education and popping out kids. the smartest thing to do to meet in the middle, in my opinion, is to take that risk but always have a skill to fall back on. nowadays having a job is just as risky as owning a business cuz they could lay you off tmrw with no reason and leave u with nothing. might as well take that risk doing something you love. I work and converse with older folks a lot and they all had dreams but they had kids young and some didn't have much of an education or got laid off after 30 years at a job and it took them their whole life to get comfortable. the "poor" dad working so hard to support his children is why they have the opportunity to even consider entrepreneurship.
