X5 e70 - Android auto No Signal message fix or tips on CCC system 2006 - 2009.
In this video I explain how I fixed the android no signal message that appears after the car goes to sleep. I remember that at first after connecting it will work but after the car will go to sleep it will not work whether the car's been turned off or reset. Whatever I tried it will not work.
The part from the old screen is not connected to the android directly. It's connected to a cable that original connects to it. Initial instructions didn't Instruct to used old screen part either.

e70 X5 rear upper control arm and worn parts
Просмотров 6532 года назад
In this video is just a guidance for those who want to distinguish which rear parts are worn for BMW X5. It is not as simple to remove tension like the e53s X5. You really need to inspect the lower control arm bushing, there the ones that take most of the beating. Also a look how do SPC rear upper control arms vs OEM. The SPC bushing has 2 settings. Per SPC manual 1 setting for OEM degree and o...
e70 X5 rear lower control arm bushing replacement

So even after alignment this bushings are hard to diagnose if bad. This is one of the reasons the X5 rear tires wear from the inside. When accelerating the rear lower control arms moves causing tire toe. Toe is what wears and not so much camber. I noticed when going on highway and when increasing or decreasing the speed the SAV would slightly move to left or right. This video is just an idea wh...

Just to help other DIYers my oil pressure switch went bad and if you have the high speed synchronization it requires the more expensive one. Well autozone has the same what came in my car for cheap. It was $23 while $50 at FCP euro for exact part. Both have lifetime warranty but autozone there are every where.

E70 X5 4.8 drivetrain carrier bearing noise/sound
Просмотров 7 тыс.5 лет назад
What do you guys think? After installing the flex disk(Febi), flex disc center guide(BMW), and center carrier bearing(Meyle) a whine noise has now developed. When cold the noise can be hear around 20 mph then it stops and again around 40 mph. It happens either accelerate or decelerate only around 20 or 40 mph. Once its warm the sound goes away. According to what I have research on the symptoms ...
Phoenix AZ MISSCAT brake check

This lady took the shoulder and just cut in and she still does a brake check when she still has enough space in front of her. I think is better to give bad drivers plenty of space behind them.

This is exactly the same sound on my E90. The driveshaft bearing was replaced recently and the same sound occurred. I was really pessimistic and thinking of it’s because differential until I watched your video.
Shoosh? 😅
UPDATE, THIS IS FALSE INFO. IT IS NOT OEM BRAND PART WHEN I LOOKED AT SENSOR. ITS CHINESE
Thank you. Mine is leaking as well. Do you think this might be why I can't measure oil in idrive, it stops at 15-17%
did this fix it?
You took piece from original one and put in the aftermarket unit?
How long did it take to get the noise away on its own?
So There is two infront and this is the read middle ? It’s called beatbox mount not part of the engine mount ?
hello bro. can i use this video, with credit. ?
Update: it failed again about 3 weeks later and just decided to install the fiber optic loop.
Where did you plug it?
Are you happy with your android unit?
@@bmw12347the sound could be better like the original sound. I like the apps specially maps.
so if it’s leaking just replace it? Will that solve it? Cause that’s my issue right now mines leaking
Yeah just replace it. The inner seal wears out and oil starts to go through.
This looks like a nightmare
Bad idea leaving that busted mount
Did this solve your vibration?
I replaced it just because to avoid it from getting worse. If you still have vibration after getting new good brand tires checked your flex disc. I think it improved though.
what brackets, bolts, fasteners, parts etc. did you have to remove to ger the Transfer Case Mount expose?
The black bracket that holds the transfer case must be move down. It doesn’t need to be recome completely to replace it but I did just to clean it. To remove entirely the driver or left side exhaust must be loose to remove just to allow more gap to come out.
dude can you weite doen step by step because you did not actually show ‘how.’
The noise is less frequently now I hardly hear it so is not a big deal as when it was just installed. Sometimes I forget about it then I hear it just a bit. The thing is that to replace it the support bearing will most likely need to be replaced because there is very little chance of getting the bearing out with breaking the support bearing.
What was the problem?
I'm sure it's the bearing. I followed all instructions. I recommend getting a BMW brand or a top German one. I used Febi.
The driveshaft center bearing needs to be "pre-loaded" read this ---www.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?845428-Driveshaft-center-support-bearing-preload
@@GTR792000 I've just replaced my Center Support Bearing on my E36, and got the same noise - also used a Febi bearing, so good to know it's unfortunately likely the quality of bearing used 😬 How long did it take for the sound to go away on it's own? :)
Did you fix the problem ?
Problem as gone almost away on its own. If it was the same I would have replaced it. Sometimes it does make little noise but only for the first 5 min of driving.
I've just had mine replaced and get the exact same noise when cold. Comes on at 25mph and goes at 40mph. Did you ever get this resolved???
