Although we live totally different lives I relate to so much of what you said here. This video came at just the right time for me because lately I’ve been SO overwhelmed with all the work I have to do and have been super self-critical about being “lazy”, but you’ve given me a lot of comfort ♥️

As a disclaimer I'd like to clarify that this is a REALLY long and difficult journey. I'm blessed with the support of a lot of people. Today (the day after filming this) I spent the morning as a nervous wreck. I cried when my husband left for work. I feel like a small scared child, overwhelmed by life. But the Lord is good and he's making a way even when I can't see it myself! 🙌

Man, I had to rewatch this video since my coworkers don’t like me no matter how hard I try. I just needed to hear your similar experience with people and how they can be haters. It’s not nice being excluded from coworkers’ friend groups. It’s like they’re all on one side and I’m the only one on the other side, alone. But I mean, it is what it is. I know they’re the problem but I do end up feeling like I’m not good enough or that I must be the one who is wrong since I’m all alone. But anyway, it sucks being in this situation and saddens me to hear that you too are dealing with unfriendly people who need Jesus in their lives. I’m just glad that God remains the same, He never changes. He’s always there for us. And I pray we find our confidence in Him, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

how can you not understand yourself? you are yourself 😆😆😆 made me laugh, but also very relatable. It is such a joy to see a person willing to address their traumas/issues, to heal, to get better, to work on it. It's hard and sometimes very painful, but it is so worth it. I see it as a journey to freedom and authenticity, letting go of all false negative beliefs and unlearning unhealthy coping mechanisms. 👍 P.S. You are very lovable and such an inspiration 🧡

I know it’s easier said than done but don’t listen to these negative people. They are projecting their own lack of self-worth onto you. And you care what they say because you are an empath. I am the same way and have had to learn the same things you are now. Being a mother is tough and it causes us to reflect on ourselves because eventually your kids get older and they will see you for who you really are, not the hero they view you as when they were small children. It is a constant struggle to change and become a Godly mother, wife and woman. You are deserving, and you are amazing! A lot of good mother go through the same reflections you are. It is completely normal. If you had a traumatic childhood (which I did too) when we became mothers we are choosing not to repeat the cycle that is why it’s so tough. But just remember that you have many many people who do love and care for you. You are my sister in Christ. I’ll be praying for you ❤

This world rejected Jesus. Many of those hurtful comments are arrows from the enemy, coming after you because you carry Christ within you. Praying the Holy Spirit will fill you with guidance, peace, and freedom as you walk this road. God allows us to walk difficult journeys so we can lead others into freedom. As you sit with Him, allowing His healing to flood your heart, He is equipping you to take other people through the journey. Your openness and honesty brings light into darkness. The darkness cannot remain in the presence of light. Keep carrying the light Christ has given you. When you remember those painful situations, ask: “Jesus, show me where you were in this room. Where were you in this situation?” Allow Him to use your redemptive imagination to actually see where He was and what He was doing at that moment of pain and trauma. I’ve always found this to be incredibly impactful. Ask: “Jesus, what is the lie in this situation? Show me your truth as you uproot the enemy’s lie.” You are an incredible woman of God, and you are worthy of ALL love! The problem often lies with the people who are projecting these things on to you. How are they unhealed? What wounds are operating in their hearts? How are their infected wounds affecting others? Give yourself the same grace your Father gives you! ❤ May you see yourself through the eyes of Jesus, who is absolutely crazy in love with you!

Whoaaaa. I get too proud when I've thought of changing to be a more lovable person like why can't you love me the way I am or why am I like this? Why am I a monster who can't control myself and other ladies are more graceful and less of a liability than me?... Why are they naturally nice and well mannered?, etc. And I just wallow in self pity and just cry 😭 and that even if I did change I still wouldn't be loved either way. But then, I realize who the heck am I to want the world's love, praise, etc. like not even Jesus received the world's love. I should be satisfied with His love for me. I'm too proud to change in the hope someone will love and accept me like I'd rather be alone. But at the same time I get sad. 😂😂😂 It's definitely hard to come down to lowly position and to be humble and surrendering and realizing that I'm nothing. But it's the truth. And when I think about it I'm like oh yeah, I am a piece of dirt whom Jesus loved so much that He died for. I'm a child of God. I'm saved. I have eternal life. I'll be receiving an incorruptible body like Christ's, a crown, a mansion, like what else? I guess we just need to stand on His promises, looking above and try not to lose focus. I pray this for all of us in Jesus' name, Amen. ❤

I am about to graduate high school and have been trying to figure out what I should do next, what God's calling for my life is and what step I should take to get there. Thank you for this reminder that I can glorify God no matter what my job is and how small or insignificant it may seem. I loved this Rachel, as I sat by my fire late this evening after a rough day mentally and emotionally with my blessings. I could relate fully. And had definitely been indulging in that feeling and all the reasons why I felt it and starting to speak out all my complaints. My kiddos have been challenging me recently about handling my emotions and yes, it totally starts in the mind. We did a family devotion about the armour of God today......and then all the shots were fired; I indulged in my feelings of frustration at my kiddos sin and that too is sin and doesn't help anything. Joy robbed is strength depleting. I need a good sleep, try to forgive myself and do better in his grace and strength tomorrow. Thank you for this lovely friendly evening hangout, and sharing. I also loved Christmas and the kiddos and I put up their tree tonight. 🎄

Oh, with the tantrums…there’s an app (originally a book) called Wonder Weeks. The app provides a really helpful timeline for when babies go through developmental leaps as their little brains develop. It was hugely eye-opening for me to know the why behind the what, and when to expect the next phase of behavior changes.

I hardly ever look at the screen during ASMR, so I never noticed the audio/video/left/right issue! I love LifeWord’s set up as well…but as a homeschooling mom of 2 active boys, I also LOVE the realness of your videos. You’ve just had a baby, but you’re not letting that stop you! Very representative of my daily life, and your videos always make me smile!

As a brand new mother, you're going through a complete change to your schedule! You're going to figure out as you go how things work best. The frequent feedings and midnight changings don't last forever, you've got this! 💪 For Bible study during this busy time, I think it's helpful to listen to Christian podcasts or videos that are thoughtful. I recommend pastors Mike Winger and Nate Cook! From always listening to these things, my daughter actually started talking about God and Christianity very soon after she began speaking, so to have those types of things on as she gets older is very helpful. They are like sponges for information! I don't know if you needed any encouragement, but I know being a new mom is difficult! Everything happens in God's perfect timing 😊

Don't feel too bad about the hairbrush memory loss, sounds like baby brain? Just focus on being mum, you'll figure it out. As an atheist I approve of this less bible study, pretty soon you'll work out you can live your life without it 😂, sorry, I'm just being cheeky... Stay safe!
