Ah great question. I need to get round to doing a video on a deep dive comparison. I own both and they feel and sound very different. Both cool guitars. You can't really go wrong with either. The main thing for me is the pickups. The affinity ones are raw and take crunch sounds really well - great for Hendrix/SRV stuff. The Yamaha pups are not so raw... more mild mannered if that makes sense!

No worries! I did a deep dive on the Yamaha vs a true Fender strat if that might help. Just bear in the Fender is a fair bit more expensive. That is a strange one. I've tried to replicate that but I couldn't get mine to do that. Maybe try pressing the jam button and then the left big foot button. That should turn on/off any kind of drums, hopefully including tapping. Good luck!

Very wise. My advice would be stay well away from Chibsons. They vary so much in quality. The value is also terrible in general if you want to sell it on. It's much better to get a great guitar that you can change bits in over time if you really want to. That's my opinion anyway. It's worth mentioning, if you own an Ibanez Gio, the RG series is awesome. I have an RG421PB too. It is fantastic. Depending on where you are it costs about the same or a bit less than the Epi. Both are very different, but excellent choices.

In my experience with this amp, I have a little noise too even when not playing. It's nothing major, but it is there a little. I personally love this small amp as it sounds so good for it's size. Thanks for watching!

Very true. The tuners are on point and haven't let me down. The fundamentals of this guitar i.e. body and neck are excellent. The hardware is also very good (particularly the great bridge), but could be changed to taste if really needed. I'm leaving it stock. I'd only mess around with it out of curiosity. 100%, I love this guitar.

The Fender is a nice quitar for sure. It feels very different to the PRS (scale length, neck profile, weight etc) and it's in a higher price bracket. They are different guitars in a lot of ways. It's not to say this PRS is inexpensive... but it is good value for the amount of versatility it offers and to my ears sound great dialled in. The light weight and chunky neck profile were also winners for me. Thanks for watching!

It's been a while since I tried a Jackson, but according to their website, it has a compound neck radius, 12" to 16". It's worth noting the nut width is 42.8mm too. The Schecter neck radius is 14" with a 42mm nut width. So it likely feels different to this. I can say the Schecter neck feels very nice. From memory the Jackson neck is also cool, just different. Maybe, there might be settings in the pedal looking at the manual to make it sensitive to changes.

Maybe, it's still a great guitar. This one just behaves more like a normal single coil might in all positions i.e. a bit of noise. It's not a big deal really and the noise or hum can be removed with a bit of tinkering. Thanks for watching!

Pretty amazing to get Great Humbucker Tones .. along with the Hot Strat Tone it gives .. Thanx Again !! . ( Did play one at a local shop ... Excellent Neck Carve .. Wide Fat ...that description ... Sounds like an old Les Paul neck. But... I thought very comfortable to play 👌☀️

No worries, this one in the video does have the brass inserts yes. It is an excellent guitar. It's a true 'players' guitar i.e. very comfortable and all the physical design seems to have been tailored to that goal. I find the neck profile and the body contouring just spot on. I have my Fender, Gibson etc but this is the one I play most... Well this and funnily enough my Ibanez RG which is really really different to this, but is equally comfortable... if you like that sort of thing! I think you'll enjoy the PRS loads if you go for it. I won't ever be selling mine. Definitely a keeper.

Yes, it's PRS SE Paul's guitar. All 3 of these guitars are absolutely brilliant. It really depends on what you gravitate towards most and what style you like. They are some of the top guitars in their price bracket. @appetiteforguitar Watched the full vid twice. Great guitar. That finish is coming across as midnight blue, almost black. Love it, I have a Strat that color. I noted to another viewer that your Epi LP was made in China in Nov of '14. I have a two Chinese Epi LPs and two Specials, one with P90s. They're all very good.
