@@LunarEntity I started out on the XBOX many, many moons ago and have been playing the game for 2+ decades. The mods make it feel fresh. The last few years, the modding community has really pushed an aesthetic that fits with and elaborates on the alien nature of the setting. There's a lot of going back to the concept part and implementing this that Bethseda didn't include in the vanilla game. Plus there are some quality of life mods like being able to right-click exit from dialogue boxes and turning off friendly fire that I just don't how I lived without.

@@McRingil The pants Dak is wearing are actually greaves from a Westley mod. I think it's supposed to be some flavor of elvish. Her primary armor skill is heavy, and we do have an almost full set of ebony scattered about, but since she carries the camping gear and is a tank, I decided to swap out for some lighter weight pieces. Plus, they just look cool 😎

It usually hovers around 24fps. What are you used to?

I like the storytelling aspect of having a party + the added challenge of keeping everybody alive. Doors, though... getting everybody through a door at the same time can be a herculean task.

I think it's game, but I'm not sure what in Seyda Neen is causing it to jump like that. My frame rate is usually around 30ish

Latte is from the Rishajiit by Danae. Julan is from Julan, Ashlander Companion by Kateri. Jiub is actually from CM Partners mod, but I recommend getting him from Danae's Friends and Frens. She was still working on that mod when I started this playthrough and having the two running concurrently means we occasionally stumble upon "evil" twins

There's nothing that quite compares to the world of Morrowind. It's more like Dune than Tolkien. Thankfully, after 2+ decades, there are mods to fix pretty much all the broken mechanics.

Not a fan here either. If for no other reason than they enable the horribly destructive monoculture farming here in the USA.

@@tylersimplot13 we lost a whole houseful of goods (including some Easter eggs and some Threads of the Webspinner) pretty early on when I over-wrote a house mod 😕 I feel your pain

This comment was so encouraging. I started this channel to force myself to actually play the game and engage with the Morrowind modding community again after years away instead of just messing around with mods, and it makes me so happy that other people are enjoying it.

There's also the "did we come in here before? Shouldn't someone be attacking us? Oh, look, a dead body - I guess we did."
