@@Toolcontrol22 hello there were some families who did choose to live off base (very few and not always the best experience) most stay in dreamville for the community, close to base, etc. it doesn’t hurt to look at few apartments and decide! We really liked Dreamville but it is farther away from town and we didn’t have a car. If we did it again we would still stay in Dreamville but this time get a car!

It all depends on rank!

This was Bolling AFB in Washington DC: the Bellevue housing We moved because mold, pests, and wanting back pay! Some people do get lucky though and don’t have these issues on base Unfortunately that wasn’t the cast for us 😅

5000 won for 30 eggs is a steal! Girl you need to get one of those carts to carry your stuff. esp if you live on a 3rd floor. I love mine and I take it anywhere with me. 😆

Yes! There was no room on the rotator so my husband flew Delta and then we paid for my flight on delta and then luckily there was a seat available next to him and we were able to pay to switch my seat! 1 year is short and we were so thankful it was only a year 🙏🏼

@shawneeshareen there's a lot of things to see and visit in this small country. We definitely wana go to other Asian countries before we PCS back in the States.

This was during Covid so not many things were open during this time, we also both worked on base so we didn’t need to leave really during that time! We ended up moving off base a year after that, you should watch those videos!

That was our worry, but it did fit in one taxi! I believe we used the trunk and the back seat of the taxi to fit everything!

@@frankiejones3762 there are taxi right outside Gunsan Bus terminal and say you want to go to Dream Ville or Kunsan Air base (or show them the address on your phone that’s usually easier) One taxi should fit everything! Husband sat in front, I sat in back with some luggage’s and we used the trunk. Uber also works here if you have signal, you can order a larger Uber!

No, Kunsan is only unaccompanied! Other bases I know you can apply for command sponsorship! Hope you guys get it! 😀

Thank you for supporting! I would say 3 days! As long as it’s been in the fridge or kept cold. Sometimes with changing planes, delays, etc, not having access to a fridge i throw some stuff out if I think it’s not safe to eat! I try my best to have the food in the coolers, fridge or on ice as much as I can! I hope this answers any questions and if you have anymore ask away!
