Great video, but how does shizo deaths Storehouse give the commander evasion if it grants fear where only artifact & black creatures can block the cat? Tower of the magistrate giving protection from artifacts is a sweet synergy.

People I play against tell me that thassa or conjurer's closet doesn't work on unearthed creatures. Because it says remove it from the game if it would leave play.

Coruscation Mage is better than Guttersnipe for the simple fact that the effect is over two bodies (assuming offspring) and harder to get rid of completely. My opinion, of course.

My experience with elf decks is usually one of the following: a) I dump my hand onto the board. Someone plays a sweeper. I'm stuck with a Shamanic Reclamation in my hand and no mana, because I missed land drops. (Not fun) b) I have this turn, where I play solitaire, trying to find a way to win the game, because of a janky infinite mana and draw engine, while everyone else waits for their death. (Not fun) I was questioning myself for a long time: Are elves just not fun to play in edh? My current build is Lathril with a +1/+1 counter subscheme, where I avoid combo cards like Wirewood Symbiote and play more like a midrange deck with cards like Black Market Connections. Turn 2 Court of Garenbrig feels very strong, transforming your little 1/1 dork into a 5/5 threat on turn 3 and introduces the monarchy to the game, which is always fun. I also have to mention, that Heroic Intervention literaly does nothing in my meta. So many sweepers don't destroy creatures.

umm i have one question my friend just told me that i cannot build a full color Commander deck with Ezio Auditore da Firenze because there is a Commander Rule that says. i only can use cards in my deck that matches the color's my commander have so Ezio Auditore da Firenze has only 1x Dark and 1x Colorless in its cost so the deck is full Dark and Colorless ! so my Question is here how can i steal build more colors in the deck and how i use his Effect its useless without the other colors !

Awesome vid. Went back and smoothed out some rough edges in my deck though i am curious about a few things as I’ve never done aristocrats. If I am doing a Karador aristocrats deck what areas I might sacrifice in order to add mill? Some of my draw and land ramp maybe? Since I will have creatures to grab cards from the graveyard? I do still want tokens but using my commander and cards like Kagha to recycle an Eternal Witness or Sakura-Tribe Elder each turn might be just as good as draw perhaps?

Wasteland. I've personally found it to be really strong. I think it is fine to treat is as functionally equivalent to a colourless spell that costs 1 mana and so it is also flexible. P1 P1 I think it's right to pick a card which is a clear stand-out on power level, but I don't think you have that here. I think Wasteland is more or less on a par with Timetwister & Hullbreacher and in this kind of tiebreak situation the flexible card makes much more sense to take, since you don't know what is going to be open - besides, there is a tension taking one of the two blue cards since someone to your left will very likely take the other one and take it as a signal, meaning you could easily be fighting over the same deck. Lurrus is narrow so I think taking it before you know the strategy is open is forcing. Besides, I don't think it is even as good as Wasteland, so that is the pick for me.

I run three battles in mine just to have that extra card type going on as well

My pick 1 would be frantic search. It's an excellent setup for Re-animator as a discard outlet but also keeps you open to playing Ur tempo

I'd go Archon or hullbreacher. Workshop is very powerful but because you need specifically expensive artifacts for it to be good its a lot narrower than something like academy. I generally am only interested when I already have some payoffs

I would take hullbreacher. I can see lurrus too. the draw hate is generically good even if we don’t end up with a wheel whereas the twist is replaceable with other variants if we end up there.
