good information , thanks.
You're welcome!
Hi , how area of your land, and which place. in the borewell how many inches of water , you were able to get. what is the capacity of the tank and how much it costed you. thanks . all the best
5.21 Acres, Near Palacode (Dharmapuri District in Tamilnady). Water output from the bore is only 1.5". At the moment, we are able to run the bore motor for around 2 hours, then we had to give it a break of 2 hours, then we can resume pumping. It takes almost 3 days to fill the sump of capacity ~75k litres. Sump cost ~ 1.7L, we constructed using solid blocks, and mesh plastering
Nice! I will wait for your video covering how are you planning for drip irrigation set-up.. All the best.. View from the roof-top is awesome in the evening!
Thank you. Sure, will keep you posted.
Pls give me ur number
Interesting to see how you have zonal dividation with rationale! Good going!
Thank you :)
way to go borther!
Thanks Jeevan
can you please educate on how much it costed you to get your farm fenced If you find some time.
About Rs. 5L, 2200 running feet. This includes stones, steel fencing, barbed wires, labour + maingate.
@@EcosafeFarmer Thanks for replying.
Best wishes. New farmers love to see such updates
Thanks Prem
Hi Bro . I would like to colab and work on Jeevamratha etc.. I have 4 yrs of farming experience in my own land outskirts of Bangalore
Hi Kiran, please email me at ecosafefood@gmail.com, will be nice to connect.
Good to see groundnuts being saved! Greenary looks nice! One thing caught my attention - why the borewell pipe is having another elbow joint? When water comes out with a lot of pressure, it will be better to have maximum straight pipe length in order to avoid any pushback to such force from pipe itself. We avoided such elbow joint in the begining area from the borewell at our house. Progress looks good! Thanks for sharing it.
Thanks @SpicerJet. Yes absolutely, will remove it. :)
Congratulations🎉
Thank u:)
How much size of Micro tube in mm

Following you since quite long. This is your second purchase I guess. Btw if you can manage to get 1000 litres water daily try this thing. Install a raingun at your groundnut land piece and just spray the 500 litrs water in the morning ( about 6 - 6.30 ) and evening right after sunset. Your plant will survice and will also yield. This is called Air Irrigation. If your doing this please keep us updated. This method created moisture in the air which plant can directly use.
Hi @laabhn, It's actually the first purchase - previous ones were leased. Thank you so much for the suggestion, rain gun a great idea. I did think of the option, we can buy a tanker load of water but unfortunately we still don't have the power connection.
Good to see the progress, sad to see plants are drying. Wishing all the best in near future for your plans! Would love to see how it comes out!
Thank you @SpicerJet. Hopefully, things should get better once we are able to sort out the water issue.
Good progress :)
Thank you :)
How much is the price per acre?
Are there any lands available nearby?
Feel free to drop a note to my email ecosafefood@gmail.com, I can share more details. I can put you in touch with an real estate agent who I worked with and he should be able to assist.
Hi are you still doing this model ? If yes can we visit your farm ? I am from Bangalore
Hi, thanks for checking. Unfortunately, no, we had to move out of the leased space and we have now purchased our own land near Dharmapuri. Just got started with setting up the infrastructure, power and water.
Thank you for the response, we are also planning to implement a similar kind of model in our 1 acre land. We are making 100 beds of 100ft length and 3 feet wide in 1 acre. If you could share your experience and the profits you made / month with this model, it will really motivate us . Thank you
@@Addy-xq6rp Frankly, we didn't make a profit. The issue was, we were supporting two labour families and 1 caretaker for just a 3 acre farm. 5 people could have easily supported 5- acres. On top of that, there was the lease expense. Cost per acre was just too high for the income we were getting. We were making these raised beds with manual labour. Its best to use a tractor - bed maker to be cost-efficient. Managing the farm remotely was also a bit of a challenge. With all this said, in my opinion, 1 acre land (say a mix of veggies and lettuce) must yield at least 3-4L per year in revenue. If we have a larger piece of land (or) if we are able to collaborate with neighbours, we could achieve a lower cost-per-acre.
1.Market decided prices will only be acceptable they are profitable to farmers 2.Storage facility is the most important requirement for Indian agriculture to keep prices stable may be individually or in association it must be done in modern ways of silo storage 3. Regarding profitability I want to say that food grains can never meet Indian farmers profit as because of India's poor consumers hence the only way is to reduce own production cost or change the crop 4. There must be always a subsidiary crop resistant to maximum factors like bamboo Or a subsidiary business that can be done within the land in hold by the farmer 5. For the irrigation problem farmers must accept the present availability of water and choose the right crop. The water that falls on the piece of land is the farmers water which must be harnessed by the farmer properly
May I know what is the budget of construction of your house
Hi Pradeep, both the cowshed and labour house put together, expected to cost around 15L (excluding the Sump which costed about 1.9L)
Hai sir
Congrats bro, Jan 13th is my birthday 😅… can you please tell me the cost of the land so that it will help us while negotiating
thank you and nice coincidence. Please drop me an email at ecosafefood@gmail.com. Happy to share with you more details.
Good progress and I can see the heavy-lifting that’s been done :) Looking forward to your plantations. All the best
Thanks you @PranavaSimhaFarms. :)
Reality of farming: - Per capita GDP of the farming sector is extremely low. - Contribution to gdp is only 18% compared to service sector 60%. 💡 Few reasons , Why Farming in India is Unprofitable & Inefficient: 1️⃣ Heavily subsidized industry that drains taxpayer money 💸. 2️⃣ Overregulated, stifling free-market competition. 3️⃣ Land usage restrictions: Average holding is just 2.6 acres compared to Brazil’s 180 acres. 🚨 The reality: India’s farming sector is bogged down by inefficiencies mainly due to excessive government regulations and protectionism. 💡 How to Fix Farming in India: ✅ Implement farm reforms (the ones retracted due to irrational protests 🚜). ✅ Abolish land ceiling limits all over India to enable larger, more productive farms. Also citizens should be able to buy farm land anywhere in the country. ✅ Encourage contractual farming to bring efficiency and innovation. ✅ No protectionism - let the market decide prices, not the government!
Great thoughts, thanks for sharing @prassenjeetrathore
Thanks for sharing this.. it's really nice sharing your experience, it seem to be close to the reality.. I have seen some videos mostly people are just hyping! People tend to earn profit soon which is not reality but it takes time!.. This video gives the clear picture.. If working professionals comes with this mindset they can be successful in farming!!!
Congratulations 🎉

I had discovered your channel before I got into farming (July 2023) and your channel was very inspiring for me (in fact that's why I started my RUclips channel to take folks along with my journey). Great to see you back onto the farming bandwagon :) All the best.
Looks like you have made a lot of good progress. Just saw few of your youtube videos. Great going and wish you all the best!!!
What was the total allotted cost for this ?
My latest estimate for both the Labour house and Cowshed together is ~15L.
How do you and how often do you clear the slurry deposited in the second level (the tank with the stones and filter). Thanks
Ideally every month is sufficient. BTW, the slurry is also full of nutrients, we used to add the slurry to FYM
Super sir waiting for more information about our project

Hello tamil theriyatha
Solar or barbed wire
Combination of Barbed+Chainlink
Barbed + Chain Link. We are planning to do solar on top of that and that work is still pending
How much concrete pole one pic
How much did you purchase it for and how many acres?
Sorry missed this, feel free to drop me an email at ecosafefood@gmail.com. Happy to share more details.
Happy farming 😊
Hai Brother
Please share your contact to clear our doubts
Hi, Thanks for the detailed valuable information. I have couple of queries. 1. I see that you have used the plastic thank. Since, we have added cowdung in thank for preparation of jeevamrutham, do you think this will reduce the lifespan of them? 2. If given an option to set this up again, will you use plastic tanks or cement rings to prepare thank? 3. How will you remove the residue which is present in the tank? All the best. Thank you in advance.
As one of viewers, has asked, we would be happy if it is clearly shown how the residue is cleared from the bottom of the Tank?
Apologies, didn't notice these messages earlier. - We've been using the tanks for like 3 years and so far, they are good. For large farms, I would suggest concrete tanks and some permanent structures. - We have a 2inch gate valve very close to the bottom of the tank to remove the slurry. Kindly note, we have moved away from the leased farm. Now working on setting up the infrastructure for our newly purchased farm land. Since its owned, we are thinking about investing in a permanent setup with concrete, instead of plastic. Yet to reach that stage - still awaiting power connection and working on sheds and land preparation.
This is very simple and efficient. Please give your number I want make this model to my Farm.
U r a indian ok u spik hind . Ok
U r tell me only kannad please, i know your a english man. But u spik hind and kannad.
Looks the plot is saturated, too much water, you can see water being accumulated by the side of bed
In the year 2022 April. Are you still doing the same model? Ist going profitably? What type or brand seeds your using bro ?
Hi Arun Sir, Why no updates about farming Sir? It's been so many months... Hope everything is right.
Use mulching sheet
Hi Arun, congratulations on your experimentation and success so far. I think drum sticks would have grown reasonably good height by now. Hope you have cut the main head of the plant to restrict the height growth. Awaiting your next update :) Happy farming
Hi Krishna, thanks for the comment. Yes, Drumsticks have grown decently and I have pruned to approx. 3-3.5 feet. Hopefully yield will start around Jan-Feb.

We are working on similar project since 2018. As you said, it has been a journey of lots of learning. We often refer to your videos just to not repeat the same mistakes on our farm. Love your honest video's. No exaggerated claims! Thank you. Keep up the good work.
Dear Arun Shyamkumar, Happy Morning. What happened Sir Since a long time you have not come with any video on Brinjal. Has same thing happened as it happened with earlier project?
Thanks Mr. Prakash for checking. Post heavy rains we have lot of weeds to manage. Grafted brinjal is still decent, yielding about 75-100kg per week from ~0.5 acre. Planning to get a tractor for the drumstick side to remove weeds. I'll plan to post an update next week.
How you supply water
I have connected a drip system directly to borewell
@@EcosafeFarmer did you use water pump to pump the water
@@akshaicjems No, just the pressure from borewell motor is sufficient for 3 acres. No separate pump.
