You hit the "light symbol" Key which is between the "FN" and "Ctrl" Key (at the middle bottom of the keyboard). You hit that key the first time to change the color pattern and hit it a again (second time) to change a different color layout, and hit the key a third time to turn the backlit off.

Thanks for the comment, I'm not sure because I have windows 7 on my HP6360b, but it should work. I have used a HP Elitebook 755 (same as 850) with windows 10 and it worked great. With windows 10, its easy to install. Windows 10 automatically download the drivers and install and setup itself. All you do is scan your finger to set it up. The easiest way to do it, is to do a Fresh Installment of windows 10 on your pc. Than when its time to create a password (or pin) and setup your account, you choose log-in by finger print. Once windows is installed, it will ask you to create and pin or password, you choose finger print login. Than it will ask you to scan your finger. once scanning is done, your finger print reader will be ready to used. You don't have to install anything manually, if you used windows 10. I hope that helps.

Once you upgrade the Ram and Processor, that laptop will be speedy and the menus will pop-up quick (almost instantly if using windows 7) and interface launches quickly and will power down quickly in a few seconds. It's definitely worth the upgrade. You will definitely notice the added boost of Performance. Plus you can add Extra Storage (up to 1TB) space Without adding a new hard drive or removing it! If you don't have any problems running windows 11 on your hp 6360t (Thin Client version), than the fastest processor you can upgrade that laptop with is the core i7-2620m 2.70Ghz. That's the processor I am using on my hp 6360b notebook. its really makes the laptop run faster and boots up fast and the menus and interface is very snappy.

Thanks for the comment. So you have the probook 6360t laptop, that is the thin client version. Are you using the embedded version of windows, that may be your problem? If you are using the regular version of windows, you may need to downgrade your graphic driver to a earlier version. The 6360t had as slightly different hardware from the 6350b version. Try going to the HP website and download the graphic driver for the 6360b. If that doesn't work, try downloading the graphic driver for the elitebook 8460p or probook 6460b. They are basically the same laptop and share the same drivers. So one of those drivers should work on the laptop. It will work on the 6360b, but for the thin client, I'm not sure. As I said before, the thin client probook (6360t) has slightly different hardware, that is where the problem is. The thin client version usually comes with a 1.6Ghz celeron BB10 processor. Did you upgrade the processor to the core i5 2430? You can also delete / uninstall the graphic driver and the laptop will still run fine, but the resolution will be at 1280 x 800 (I believe), not at 1366x768. Let me know what version of windows you are running and if the processor was upgraded.

Thanks for the comment. Yes, I just wanted to do a quick overview and comparison of the two amps and just go over the basic functions. Yes, the cover do take up space from the internal volume of the enclosure, but in a way it does help to shield the electronic parts such as the wires and steel screws and other parts from the large magnet of the woofer. The magnet of the driver will effect the performance and the signal of the subwoofer plate amp (the electronics in the plate amp). is the woofer is too close to the amp plate. Yes, that's the problem with with those small Tri-path subwoofer amplifiers (such as the fosi amp) Those amps are small, but have a bit of distortion when they are pushed hard. The sound good at low levels, but at loud volume, they distort hard. And the power supply is always under powered, which does not give the full wattage as stated. Plus the fosi amp sparks when you connect the adapter to the amp (when off), that's very unsafe. It's always good to have a frequency controller on the amp. it will help blend in the main speakers better. If I have time, I may make another video of the subwoofer plated amplifier. The next video will have a more in-depth look.

Yes, that's true the ear clips feels a bit awkward at first, but after wearing them, you get use to them. The foam and covering on mines are starting to come a loose now due to their age, but they still sound good. I haven't tried the PMX-95 yet, but I'm interested in trying them.

That's great. The HP 8460p is a very nice machine! I had mines too for 10 years. now. Still works great. For the dual both, it should work. I did a dual both with a lenovo W510 and it work find. It should work on the HP. Try booting from one harddrive first. just put a harddrive in your optical drive bay only first and try to boot from that first. Then shut the laptop down and add the other harddrive to your laptop. Then power and go to bios and select boot to other drive (main hd or SSD). That should work. Try the optical drive first with just one harddrive. IT should recognize the SSD in the optical drive. See how that works.

@@lovethatpop Thank you for your reply. I decided to test two HDD both installed with Windows 10 and didn't have any issues booting from either of the drives. Then I changed one drive to be a Windows SSD drive and didn't have any issues and later tested with 2 x SSD both Windows and no issues. All these tests were done with UEFI disabled and using the Legacy Boot method in BIOS. The problem I am having from the onset is when I install Ubuntu v23.10 (new) or the older 22.0. Both versions install perfectly without error but when I boot up, the BIOS reports no disk found. I suspect it is something to do with the way Linux or Grub file configuration is the culprit. I think it might be something to do with the older UEIF support although the new v67 BIOS is dated 2018 so surely it should have the proper support.

Sorry for the late reply. I wasn't feeling so well the last few days, but I feel better now. Yes, you are right, I was looking at that. The problem with the boot order is the Grub file configuration, since you are using linux. The Grub file uses a kernel file. The Grub uses or switches to kernel once it starts to boots up. The Kernel causes the system not to find a boot source. It depends on the version of kernel you have. Having an older version of Kernel may solve that problem. GRUB has a menu where you can change or select the different versions of Kernel. The default version of kernel that Grub used will not work. You have to change one of the kernels, whichever one works. What do you think?@@MP-mu1kw

@@lovethatpop Thank you for your reply. Glad to hear you have got your health back. Yes, there are a few hacks that needs to be done on the Ubuntu bootloader on the installer USB stick. It was too fidely so I have a slim HP EC200e server that I used for lab that has proper UEFI support. I fitted the SSD drive into this machine and installed Ubuntu and transfered the SSD over to the HP Laptop Upgrade Bay and enabled UEFI in the BIOS and the trick was to at power ON press F9 key which gives you the boot options and select the option which reads Upgrade Bay (UEFI) and this successfully boots the SSD now. When changing back to Windows I simply restart the laptop and it defaults to booting from the internal SSD and it seems to have done the trick. Hope that helps others. Last but not least, to give a new lease of life and boost the CPU performance, I decided to upgrade my existing i5-2520M processor with an i7. Will keep you in the loop of how it goes.

It's like having 2 different laptops in one. That's great you are going to upgrade the processor. You can upgrade it to a 2860M Quad Core Processor. Thanks for the comment. Are you talking about adding a external finger print reader? If so, you can use a USB Finger Print Reader. If your laptop doesn't have one, If you are using windows 10 you may not need to install any drivers.

​@@CyberNinja6969 Oh ok I see. You can do that, but it will be a lot of work. You going to have to take base of the laptop apart. Remove the palmrest from the mother board. You may also need to go into bios and hardware device in the operation system for the computer to recognize the added device. There is also a usb figure print reader, that is almost flat that will mount on the side of the laptop. it won't stick out much. That's a second option you can do if the first one doesn't work.

@@lovethatpop yeah that could be an issue. I have a corporate laptop and it has some kinda locked BIOS. It's for personal use but configured for corporate HP Wolf security that im not sure its easy to unlock

@@CyberNinja6969 oh ok I see. yes, that will be a problem . The only way I know to unlock the bios, is to remove the chip and put a new one. I don't know if software can unlock the bios. yeah, its going to be a lot of work. I just made 2 videos on the HP 6360b laptop. One using a docking station and the other one on the laptop. I Will post them on the 7 and 9 of this month. Have you upgraded yours with the core i7?
