I was there 2 months ago. Really great improvements going on in the country from El Tamirindo up to El Tunco. I have lived in Costa Rica full time for 5 years. When I’m driving through El Salvador and see the road construction and conditions I said to myself; what exactly have we been paying for here! El Salvador has 25 % lower PriceSmart prices, super friendly people. One issue that is big to me because I am a huge animal person. The animals are very sick and roaming the streets sick but still breeding. I understand Bukele is address this but this is out of control. Can’t go from third world to 1st with this, major poverty and almost no English spoken. For me I am and explorer and adventurous so I love challenges and overcoming them. I am considering a second location there with a stray dog sanctuary as my goal. From where it was to where it is, is shocking as long as it keeps moving this way. Great video

I was thinking el salvador but found belize to be much better. More selection, cheaper and way less populated

I had no problem with the purchase, I bought the two houses, everything was in order, the title was on the owner, there were no debts on the properties, everything was fine, what I did have was that I renovated the shower twice, the first time after a year, the pipes burst and the second time, a man did it for me as he managed to shut off all the water in my house because he put construction material cement inside the pipes and then he closed it with the wall people without much sense here but the whole story cost me something like 150 dollars 200 dollars that's the damage+80$ to fix it in 3d time

You might find a good deal for $ 2,450 dollars for a One bedroom apartment. The so called American dream was all propaganda made up by the real estate peopIe here in The United States. It is a scam. Even if you own your home here you could lose it if you fall behind your property taxes. The state would take your home and put it for auction. It is best to buy outside in another country. El Salvador is being one of the best choices out there !!!!!
