I'm not really sure how fast I was going. The Dragon isn't really about "how fast can you go?". It's more about maintaining that speed through the corners. You may notice that I rarely shift, because I don't need more power, I need more grip 😆. The best run I did was almost entirely 4th gear. The Coyote has plenty of torque in that gear, plus it saved me some gas, and helped keep temps in check.

Maybe, but it isn't noticeable around town. It's mostly a sound and cosmetic upgrade. I didn't dyno before and after so it's hard to say.

This is completely accurate! I only used two for the fun. The fastest run was entirely done in fourth gear. The Mustang sounds good enough to make up for it, though.

You have me wondering what gear my 97 NSX will live in at the Dragon slightly moded to 315 I should have enough torque to pick one and adjust for traffic.

Lol, I know! These were actually the original summer tires, I think they were Eagle F1s. No winter tires for two good reasons, though: 1) This was in Charleston, SC wich almost never snows. 2) Live in a small townhome with no space to store extra tires. No garage. I've moved since then and intend on buying winter tires now that I have a garage.

Depends on how well you can actually drive, and tires. Tires are king. In this video I'm running through the Tail of the Dragon with a Camaro SS 1LE and Civic Type R. Its a very handling intensive road but the Mustang is doing just fine.

@@siahbryant6651 numb, a bit scary when you’re at limit since there’s a good amount of vagueness in the rear. The front end is really good but the rear end not so much. I “touge” in a mustang so I try to push the limits on backroads

@@overweight_miata S550 have IRS so they should be better than any other generation in terms of handling

i have 15 gt pp. these s550 mustangs handle very good but difficult to feel where the limit of grip is. you are basically reacting to the movements, not able to actively anticipate loosing traction. very fast but not precise. similar to c6 corvette handling. to get precision handling need to start with a much lighter car then add horsepower, or just get expensive car with precise handling + power (porsche). mustang do 'everything' well though and low cost. F80/F82 M3/M4 are one step higher cost than mustang and lower than porsche too.

I would recommend removing the resonators. The sound quality is still great with the resonators on, but the volume level is roughly stock. That's the tough thing about my camera setup, it normalizes both sounds so they seem like the same volume but in reality, the deletes are way louder.

@@PaseoPulse92 I'm not looking for way louder, just a bit :( That is why I was thinking of leaving the resonators on.

A little bit at about 65 mph, but it's not too bad. The radio easily overpowers it. If you go over 75 mph it mostly goes away.

They are about the same volume as stock when the resonators are still on. I should have removed the resonators with the Super 10s, but was afraid of drone.

These HEMI's probably have a similar firing order of the old pushrod Fords

Lol! I know. I was driving with a Civic group and was behind an Si - really didn't take much from the Coyote to keep up so I just tried to save gas until I got past. Unfortunately, my battery didn't last long enough to record that part. Check out the other videos on my channel; I have a few where I really get to let'er rip.

I don't think so. It's the exact kit from Flowmaster, you may be able to find the piping size on their website.

It's not hard to talk in the cab, but it is a little louder than stock on the highway.

@@PaseoPulse92 yes because I do alot of highway driving and I dont want it to be annoying and loud. So you think it reasonable?

@@chrisapodaca6130 I wouldn't say it's quiet, but it's definitely reasonable. I remember thinking I should have gone with the Super 10s instead of the Super 40s that come with the kit, because it was pretty mild in total volume. Hope this helps.

This system has no other mods. Just the cat-back. I think it has the small reso, but i'm not sure. It's not my car.
