You cannot be gay and christian. Jesus is the vine we are the branches. Jesus does not produce in us fruits that are works of the flesh. A good tree produces good fruit. i understand this video is over 5 years old but paul did clearly know what a homosexual relationship was it wasn’t this foreign thing it was understood in the old testament as well also one of the first english translations was king james and it says that the effeminate won’t enter the kingdom of God and that word basically means homosexual...and there are obviously other translations of that word so that we as christians can understand that better some are better than others but that’s just how they decide to translate it for there version...i think it’s strange that the evidence is there and some people try to make there own explanation for why being gay is fine..but in the end i know God still loves everyone but that doesn’t mean he will let you enter heaven just because he loves you like it says in the verse the people that do those things won’t enter the kingdom of god so please please consider what i said...

If we want God's approval we have to do things he approves of, and we find this out in the Bible. The Bible clearly condemns homosexuality. 1 Corinthians 6:9

A gay person can become a Christian. It is a progression into your personal relationship with God and Christ. All other subjects or FLESHLY matters, are put on the back burner. A Christian, is more into Spirituality and drawing closer to our Savior Jesus Christ! You do this honestly and without pressure as some churches do. Coming to Jesus, means you understand your sin, purely from the fact that the Holy Spirit presence is absent from your life whenever your living in sin. Feelings of guilt is a good thing for someone who is struggling in life over ANY type of sin. That is God telling you its wrong! Even if you got 99.9998% OF THE WORLDS POPULATION TO TELL YOU ITS OKAY! Your STILL going to feel guilty! You going to blame other for your unhappiness. And sad to say, some so called Christians are going to agree and help support your ideology, BUT you will STILL feel that unhappy feeling when you get in a room alone. Just ask yourself a simple question away from the audience and away friend, friends who make it their job to defend your sensibility instead of speaking the gospel as written." Am I truly doing something God designed for me to do? Does he approve of my ideal of how I think mankind is designed?" In the end, only you can stand before God and be judged on your life! Jesus stands for the sins you acknowledged. My advice to you, is to find a true Bible based Church. One that is into STUDYING with you from the Bible and not coming up with these Religious Ideals that has nothing to do with Christ.

It's interesting, but sad, that I've never EVER seen a discussion by LGBQT "Christians" center on Jesus Christ. It's always about homosexuality & their being discriminated against, or their social activism. Christianity is supposed to be TOTALLY FOCUSED ON JESUS CHRIST!!!! When one reads what is being discussed below, and that person is a "mature" Christian, it makes that person physically sick. The "Christian" non-LQBQTs talk about personal sins as if Jesus Christ never died in our place for them, & that any personal sin we commit after we are saved will send us to Hell. That is the teaching of apostates (not to be confused w/ Apostles, lol). The "Christian LQBQT don't seem to know who Jesus Christ is other than a curse word or someone who will take on the characteristics of whomever the LGBQT person thinks He is, not who He reveals Himself to be in Scripture. Where is the focus on our Savior???? THAT is very telling in these conversations. Calling oneself a Christian does not make one a Christian. I would be interested in knowing if ANYONE in these discussion is actually a Christian. I have my doubts based on what is written in these posts.

Once can definitely be both a Christian & an LGBQT; however, if the LGBQT person is a "practicing" LGBQT (in other words, those who deny that their lifestyles are antithetical to the Word of God. God CLEARLY says that adultery, homosexuality, lasciviousness, among many other rejection of God's perfect standards. We ALL are sinners, but as Christians, we cannot have a personal relationship w/ Jesus Christ when we do not confess our sins. LGBQT "Christians" do not believe their behaviors & thoughts are sins; therefore, they do not confess those sins. A foriore, they cannot have a personal relationship w/ Jesus Christ, which is what Christianity is all about. I rarely hear LGBQT "Christians" talk about Jesus Christ, much less focusing on Him as their Savior & that He was the prototype for how Christians should not only behave & think, but how they should follow the perfect plan of God for their individual lives.

Hello, after listening to this video footage content, it has left me rather confused, no disrespect intended. Is my understanding correct that the LGBT community are looking for churches that treat LGBT with transparency rather than treating them as invisible??? The Bible is The Word of God, The God of the Bible and The Lord Jesus Christ are exactly who they are in the Bible. We cannot create our own versions of God or His Word, the churches that are following the Bible and The God of the Bible will preach that very word with transparency regardless how we as the body of Christ (the church) may feel. If the Word of God speaks about sin then it should with transparency be preached, if it's about Gods mercy and grace then it should be preached with transparency etc etc....church is not a place where we go and have our ears tickled, it is a place where you hear the Word of God and are moved and transformed by the Holy Spirit....I guess because that is not happening as much in churches because The Word of God is not being preached with transparency and boldness that it would convict a sinner on the spot. I'm sorry that you feel that a special church has to be created for the LGBT community or that the Word of God has now have to be manipulated So that we can somehow all be happy and visible and transparent. We have to be a repentant Christian of all of our sins regardless big or small. The issue is not God the Father, His Holy Word or Jesus Christ our Saviour, the issue is our heart....we have all turned away from the truth and want to create God in our own fallen image because we are too proud to admit our wrongs to God.

The guy who made this video talks about research but there is nothing biblical to support what he is saying. biblical questions ought to have biblical answers. instead what is being done here is u have a group of people who want to live their life a certain way then expects the bible to accommodate and conform to their way of living. Also when u have a standard of how something works there is no need for opinions. Facts are facts, but something tells me this person was looking for answers elsewhere to support their belief. If u believe a part of the bible u like, over a part u dont, it's not that u believe the bible, but rather u believe urself. Seek to themselves teachers having itching ears. Finding people to tell u what u want to hear. That's not research that's wanting to not change.

Its probably best to join a Progressive Christian denomination form of church. Fundamentalism isn't really not a good choice for anyone regardless of sexuality. I use to be a Fundamentalist. Or you can be a spiritual Awakening humanist.

Spiritual Journey you need to study Gods word better, not only are you wrong but you are spiritually incorrect. Homosexually equates Eunuch in Math. 19:11-12 but i suggest you read the whole ch.
