man Phosphoric Acid is to convert oxide to iron phosphate, if you want just remove rust use strong muriatic - Hydrochloric acid , then clean with water an paint it with the primer

tannic acid is a much better long term use converting the rust to a much more stable oxide and can be painted directly or left as a black metal like cast iron. also much much safer

Thanks for this video Geoff. I've been taking rust off garden tools before I sharpen them (I have a small sharpening business) as an added bonus for customers. WD40 and steel wool was too laborious, White Vinegar works far better than I expected but takes around 24 hours. This is exactly what I need.

I buy it from the internet, and it doesn't make much of a smell, but its always good to wear a mask for all sorts of jobs. A mask can only be a good thing.

If it was that bad why not send it back and get a refund , seems to that you did nowt but moan about , most of us would have returned it.

Running toolean -High positive fuel corrections can be traced to MAF and O2 sensor faults, vacuum leaks from intake gaskets/hoses, unmetered air (intake snorkel leak), clogged or dirty fuel injectors, fuel delivery issues, and exhaust restrictions such as a cloggedcatalytic converter.

A real negative with these machines, is they cannot be used with a foot pedal, not so bad when welding steel, but a bit of a pain when welding aluminium.

I've got one of these on the bench at the moment. Mine works for a very short time then does nothing. I've established the middle / top board form the power supply with the top board also containing a small auxiliary power supply (24V) and the brains behind the welder. The lower board has a soft start circuitry, a high voltage (possibly hot start) and the main reservoir capacitors. 6-way connector on right hand side (3 blk, 3 ornge) feed reservoir volts to top pcb and can easily be measured there. When switched on the res caps are 0V, current is limited via a string of components until reservoir volts attain a certain level where the top power supply fires up, when the voltage get to a predetermined level, the large relay on the lower board engages bypassing the string of soft start / current limiting components, basically the mains is now direct to the caps. you should get 300V plus, if not then it won't weld. My res volts goes to approx 200V, fan runs etc. all looks good but res volts diminishes all the time, gets to about 130V, fan starts slowing, then you hear a familiar switch mode power supply running out of source volts / shutting down, then it just sits there at 60V doing nothing. When these units are good, you'll have 300V plus on those res caps and they store a LETHAL AMOUNT OF ENERGY so please tread VERY carefully and always wait 5 minutes after removing power before touching any of the PCB's. I've found no visual evidence yet but the lower board does have some green terminals on some components, moisture damage. No circuits found yet but did find a supplier of the top PCB only to see it's no longer available.

I've heard from many other sources that these cheap Chinese machines aren't worth the money. The consensus is that they are thrown together by incompetent factory workers with little incentive to get it right and not paid enough to care. Buy cheap and buy twice is often the mantra with tools.

My Plasma Cutter stopped working. Found the tree position (tig, mma, cut) switch not working. Sprayed with contact cleaner and the switch started working as well as the plasma cutter.

lol! ive got 1 of these, mines green with a picture of a ram on the side. ive used it for 3 years and only now is it playing up. ive replaced the micro switch for 99p (for 2), changed the tips on plasma cutter and tig for a few quid and the only other issue not is the gas solenoid is sticking open, hence me searching youtube for any hints n tips. im gonna see if i can open the solenoid and clean it as my compressor runs in very humid air im currently welding up 2.3mm steel with tig and stick to make a container home. i will be devestated when this little gem dies for good as i dragged it half way across the world to its final home in thailand.

the problem arise from poor design , it pa led up again after replacing the top board worked for a year, when plasma cutting it failed again

Did u manage to fix it? I got similar problem, mine burned out while I was cutting. I ordered top layer PCB to replace from warranty. But I got to pay 15£ for delivery to UK. Hope it solves the problem

how do you connect to 220v i did connected + & _ to 110v each from a electrical dryer connection and middle wire ground to ground as it is, but when you turn switch on light only blinks ones and it doesn,t seems to be working, i did connected as shown on owners manual did check for lose connections but it,s ok if some one could help would be really appreciated!!! thank you!!!

Hi, its working, I use mig mainly, its not a fantastic machine, but it does the bits I need, a bit off tig, a bit off plasma, its not well made, but for what I paid its sort off ok, I would hope as time goes by the models will get improved. Had mine about 18 months now. Would I recommend it, No not if I had more to spend, but you pays your money and takes your risk/choice.

the problem is the mainboard!! you can change it but burn again i lost my money whit this welding

we the machine arrived, there was a wire which had come off in transit, 18 months later, the machine stopped working. I contacted the seller and sent them a video of the fault, they were really helpfull and supplied a board for 20$ and its now better then new. Hope that help :-)
