The Leopard is a Joules Public House - Open Mic nights are held on the first and third Sunday of each month. The evenings are well supported by an un-intimidating and friendly audience who are there to appreciate and encourage local talent. Leopard Live is run in conjunction with 'This Is The Cat' local radio and hosted by Stevie P, presenter of the Late Selector. The 'Late Selector' goes out every Tuesday evening and is dedicated to Leopard Live following a show. All performances are recorded (unless artists express a wish not to do so) and artists benefit from the exposure of local radio air play. Leopard Live is run on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month and new artists are made to feel welcome. Clearly, the events are extremely well supported by both artists and audience alike. Show kicks off at 7.30pm -To avoid disappointment it is advised to be at the Leopard nice and early to get on the list, on the stage and ON THE RADIO !! Further information 01270 480 454.

Hang on... Back up a bit... at the time this was recorded the girl was 14 years old and the very first time she plumped up the courage to play in front of anybody outside of her bedroom !! It's a daunting thing to do at any age and yes, maybe at times the nerves got the better of her but along with the other 1500 people who like it, I thought she did a pretty amazing job. It's invisible pricks like you that make real talent stay hidden due to the negativity - so show me something better that you've done or shut the f**ck up !
