Tamiya Heavy Dump Truck review (GF01)
Thanks for a great video! Im glad Albert Attaboy is Ok. Im getting a Monster beetle.😊
I just came across this video ... Subscribed!!! 👍
Thanks! Hare Krishna
Thanks, ordered a pack of these shims :D. I love this chassis. This fixes it lol. Did you do anything about the dog bone popping?
That rubber and plastic is there on purpose, so you cant damage your bike. The leverage knob is also small so it's not possible to hurt bike even if you try to overtigthen it.
I wholeheartedly agree.
or you could have carbon pro fix the carbon bottom bracket.............my ovalized/warped press fit bb cost about $250, in and out in 4 days, better than original, no creaks
Lauf's solution is to replace the frame. They sent me a Seigla for warranty, this bike has to be decomissioned.
ah, I see.
Do Both Have The Same Size Tires?
Yes but the wheels are different.
Also im looking at replacing my engine soon sadly. Would you go lrp 32 or 30? And why?
I got a tmaxx classic and a thunder tiger mta4. They are very different in size. This things way larger.
Thank you for this video, I have a 65 Impala with factory A/C and need to replace a leaky heater core.
Thank you for creating this video, I have a 65 Impala with factory A/C and need to replace a leaky heater core.
this lrp motor is to smal and will overheat for such a heavy MT , stock 50 motor with optional TA pipe is much better .
Haven't seen one in over 14 years coop truck
I love the looks of the Wild Willy! Just looking at it makes me smile! Cheers!
I love this cart! Is it possible to go 18-20 mph without breaking any gears or differential? greetings :) (I have hardly seen a speed test of this chassis)
This is amazing!! Thank you! Is there any particular reason that the washer has to be Teflon? Would just a normal steel washer of same size also do the job?
Willy needs weight in the nose........................stop all that silly wheelying about !
' i have use my R/C frog car with ORV and traxxes part and 2nd car is a half tam with ORV / half trax stampede... beautifully... already in my channel
Used to own one. Wish we could of seen you run it.
The A MAXX
I’m about to build my first monster beetle, have a few upgrades for better stability and rigidity
Nice run! 😊 Brushed motor? I need this rc car in my life.
I really think a GF01 will be my next chassis kit from Tamiya... they're not all considered 1/24....but in the case of the dump truck, you have to co sider that those kind of rock trucks are HUGE, even compared to a large on-road dump truck... they're literally HUGE in real life, so the scale is stated differently than another vehicle on that same chassis... I believe the others are labeled as 1/12 or 1/10... I want either the Comical Hotshot, or the Toyota Land Cruizer... or possibly if wheelbase is close, figure out how to make a 4wd Pumpkin...lol
Great tip I'll have to try.
What are the rims and size dimensions look nice on your Impala?
Need to make a R/C body of 68 Impala sedan!!!
thanks brother ,ready to do mine, you really helped me.
Lunchbox for me everytime. ☺
I always wanted to have one of these 80s tamiya beetles in the late 90s. Never found one. And now I found these on amazon!!! Would you recommend this one vs. the trail version 4WD ?
Doesn’t show how you took it out.
Great video! So does that also work on the original version from 1986. Or only on the 2016 version? Anyway thumbs up!
Why don’t I just buy both? plain and simple and cheap, thanks for the review bud.
I just put the mip diff in and done!
Thank you very much!
Hey. I had the same and stil regred selling this beast. Easy to work on, alot more easy than the savage. I never had problems with the stock motor! Nice CAR
Can you use a 1/10 shell for the wr-02?
Awesome beetle. Lots of detail and the tires look great. The CVD's are cool. Overall the cassis looks real strong and for an older rc it rocks. Great video.
My God. I had a Tamiya Frog in the late 80s as a teen and the gearbox looked the same. It developed that click and grind. Couldn’t figure out how to fix it and lost interest in the car. A kid at school did end up telling me to super the diff but by that stage I was in senior year and focused on getting into University. I had no idea the problem was the side gearbox plates. It sure if I could have figured out the fix if I did know.
Dood great video thanks heaps. Was thinking I'd have to buy parts but think I have shimms for something else that will work
Do you have another channel you continued impala on?
I said it is a Inferno St I don't know what a matter with my microphone on this tablet for some reason it keeps saying sex that's what it says when I try to say another word I'm trying to say the number 6 but it comes out wrong every time I don't know why I'm sorry I didn't mean it to come out like that
I just blew up a Inferno stx so instead of buying a new engine for it I'm going to change do a electric car instead and put two 6s batteries that was a 2.6 nitro engine let's hope it all works out right have a good day I'll let you know how it comes out
I like it with the 8.0 engine in because it's got a lot more torque
The 8.0 is a beast it's a wicked car it's probably the biggest was I got but I've only ever used it once because I had a bad accident and I couldn't use my arms I spelt l a smaller engine in because they have got a lot of torque with the 8.0 engine in it likes to keep doing Wheelers
Only saying from over-the pond in England 🇬🇧 lol.ftx vantage 2.0 shocks upgrade servo to 1kg get rid of wire servo arm built my own tottaly stock but runs on 8.4v 5000mah battery doesn't need brushless.
DO YOU HAVE THE 8.0 MOTOR AND MUFFLER, IF DO , DO YOU WANT TO SELL IT
This truck is what the t Maxx could never achieve.
Great video... I just upload my new video of monster beetle
Cool... I just upload my lunchbox video
Watch this for 2nd tome
