@@tylerbacoka4248 Sombra rework, and Reaper nerf certainly didn't hurt Ana's ranking either, also helps that Brig is also so strong just playing "protect the other support simulator"

So with her disruptor shot now charging the rail gun as well as doing decent damage, good poke with the primary fire, good mobility with the slide, and being able to quickly fire two high charged rail shots it all adds up. As long as you're getting value out of disruptor shot she is annihilating teams very easily now

@@marcobruinsma5919 This tier list is for ranked on the ladder. At the pro level this tier list would look drastically different. The reason Mauga works so well at the pro level is team coordination and unrivaled game sense. The communication and trust you get with 4 random people in a ranked game does not lead to Mauga being very viable

@marcobruinsma5919 I had taken a bit of a break myself a while ago. Sometimes breaks are needed to reinvigorate the love for the game and no problem on the response, I do try to get back to all comments as best as I can!

It was a great time. I have seen lots of folks say he seems weak, but he just feels like he takes a very high amount of skill to get value, similar to Doomfist. I agree some thing need to be tuned down, likely damage from the thorn volley from the block and the duration of the root on the ultimate

I think you were generous with his placement, but I’m guessing this is also taking all ranks into consideration. For me personally he’s a D tier hero, which is sad because I enjoy playing him, but he’s seen much better days lol

What I like to do when doing a tier list is too consider all ranks, and consider the character be played at at least a competent level for those ranks for making my decision. I have friends I either play quickplay or ranked with spanning across most of the ranks of Overwatch so I do get to hear lots of opinions from ranks I am not in as well which is super helpful

Sojourn definitely an S. The buffs she received to the disruptor charge building the rail gun is massive, helping her have charged rail gun shots way more frequently than before which is how she deals the most amount of her damage. And Sombra did die, at least the Sombra everyone grew to either love or hate. She is in a very awkward place in the game and doesn't really feel like she fits in any team comp. her escape being tied to her engagement tool is extremely rough to play with. She feels best playing in a brawl/poke style like Cassidy or Soldier but those two just offer significant more value than Sombra does in that role. The only saving grace for Sombra is the Ult is still fantastic but it really feels like you're just playing for the Ult and nothing else

@ @ do you play sombra? Sombras escape isn’t necessarily tied to her engagement tool, you can easily attack people towards the end of stealth and have her tp up for escape. It’s on a very low cooldown of 7 seconds. Stealth now has 1 second of downtime, but can’t be interrupted by spy checking. This is a huge buff to stealth in many ways, making translocator a much stronger escape than previously. Perma stealth is basically still here, just be out of sight for that one measly second. Saying this change warrants a fall to F tier is crazy. She also got a myriad of other buffs, including more damage and a strong passive. You are prisoner of the community overreaction Sombra now just needs to spam her teleport off cooldown now to be stealthed, making her less susceptible to spy check damage inconsistency forcing her out. Instead of being susceptible to being revealed, she now can’t ever be revealed, she is just forced pseudo reveal her whereabouts with constant teleport audio cues. How Sombra flows now: Translocate against a wall out of audible range -> stealth super speed up to someone -> attack towards end of stealth, maybe kill -> translocator is now off cooldown, teleport out of combat in the air. You can’t be revealed after your escape now, so you are basically out free if you didn’t immediately die. Repeat.

I have been trying the Sombra changes since they launched and this is my own personal findings. I do my best not to let other community thoughts effect my decisions. Tier lists, are complete personal opinion. This is how I feel things fall. I appreciate the debate. If you're finding Sombra useful and helping you win games, awesome! This is just how I feel. On the other hand Sojourn 100000% S tier. Has been going crazy for me personally

@@VargonDraxar yeah but tbh dps heros with more uptime like soldier were better than Sombra before the patch, she wasn’t really that good. overbuff stats made that pretty clear.

Really the biggest issue is Widowmaker. Older Sombra helped easily keep her in check. It's a bit more difficult now to stop her dominance. But I'm sure Blizzard is taking a look at Widow right now cause she's been fairly oppressive

Mauga is SS rn

Curious your thoughts on why you believe that is? To me the only time Mauga can make an impact is when Cardiac Overdrive is active, which with the reduced uptime since his launch can be shut down by any shields, Sigma eat, D.VA DM, Ana nade and sleep dart, Sombra hack, Doomfist block and punch, Mei wall, Orisa Javelin spin and throw, Sym Ult, and Lifeweaver life gripping allies near the Mauga. The ult can certainly be punishing, but one very powerful ability (especially when it's an ult) does not make a hero SS but would love to hear your opinion

@@VargonDraxarwith Mauga u can go 3 2 1 charge with ur team have damage reduction and Mauga deals a lot of damage, Ana would just get rolled if your team is coordinated. Just have a look at pro play and its 80% Mauga sure there is Queen but its the previous patch and now Queen is worse and Mauga got buffed.

Yeah this tier list was made for ranked. The odds of coordination even at high level play is slim and that's why Mauga suffers. Watching OWCS this weekend you can see Mauga played a lot but that's because these are pro teams who know each other and communicate. On the ladder you have 4 randos who will do whatever they feel like most of the time

​@@VargonDraxar If that's the case then yeah it wouldn't be as good but i'd still put it minimum A, the stomp does 150 dmg and stuns if u land a headshot with it, its really broken

@@seriousdraw not sure what it is, but definitely something between the look and the voice that don't quite fit. Although I know people in real life who sound nothing like expected so maybe it's not an issue. We'll have to see

Juno*

Juno is extremely strong. I definitely suggest having Juno in your back pocket as a pick. I believe from one of your comments on another video you said you were a Silver 5 player. With that in mind Juno does not get the same value. What makes Juno especially strong outside of sheer healing numbers is the speed ring and the ultimate. Thankfully the speed ring, no matter where you place it, will always benefit you, but if you're allies aren't using it it's a bit of a waste. To add to that if your team won't play inside of the ultimate it loses a lot of value. The big benefit to Juno ult is it can be a guaranteed team fight win button, provided it's used by your team. In lower silver the coordination is necessarily there but if you can adjust your playstyle and play around your team as best as possible she will offer exceptional value. Juno is also a bit less intensive mechanically than someone like Ana, so depending on your mechanics she may be a better pick than Ana who I think is the best support right now. TLDR Juno is strong, if your team uses the speed ring and ult you will excel using Juno

You certainly can use her, in fact might be good to get the reps in, but if notice your team isn't utilizing the speed ring and ultimate it may be worth swapping. Quite honestly through Bronze, Silver, Gold, and even Plat to an extent, Moira could carry you if you enjoy her playstyle. I'd say your best selections through the medal ranks would be Moira, Kiri, and Juno (provided your team utilizes her abilities) Though if your mechanical skill is decent at the moment I think Ana is the best pick for supports, but if you don't hit a lot of shots, sleeps, and nades, definitely better to grind some QP on Ana to improve

Hey man I don’t know if you remember me I’m the silver player guy and I’ve been using kiri Lucio and Juno and it’s been going great and I was wondering if I should pick up zenyatta to use because one he’s one of my favorites and two he will be nice for poke comps if the other support goes a main support

Should I use him or just stick with 3?

@@taytvclub sticking with 3 heroes is not a hard and fast rule, it's just a tip to help climb because you're getting in a ton of reps of the same heroes. If you like Zen you should play Zen. I also think Zen is pretty strong right now, just be cautious of your positioning make sure you're always near cover

@@taytvclub That is always the question and there's a few ways of thinking on this. Playing the top tier supports certainly is viable in pretty much every situation, and if you're curious on that front I actually have a tier list for ranked coming out tomorrow that may be worth a watch. Then there's the thought of playing what supports fit the rest of your team comp best, this is a good suggestion, but more of a suggestion once you climb a bit higher. The coordination in silver likely won't yield results in exclusively playing around your team. The final suggestion, and likely the best one for you, is to pick 1-3 supports to sink your time into if climbing is the goal. I would pick either your favorites to play, or check your career profile, filter to this ranked season, and check your win percentage and time played and stick with your highest win rate heroes. Either of these options are likely best, though for sanity sake I'd try to stick with the ones you have the most fun with. Hope this helps. Keep grinding you got this!

You've taken a great first step to climbing and that's just seeking out education. Next steps are to put what you've learned into practice. If the RUclips and discord community continue to grow will probably look at doing a spectating series down the road as well which I think can offer more help than just standard videos

You'll need to find a way to close the gap. Preferably someone else on your team has a brawl or dive mentality as well, but if they don't then just be smart about it. As Reaper specifically you have a teleport ability that can help you quickly navigate flank routes (as long as you don't TP right in people's faces) you can get into position behind or beside the enemy and start blasting and then you have an invulnerable ability to fade out if it gets dangerous

For the purpose of this short I was discussing DPS heroes rather than supports. A bit can get lost in translation in shorts but this short was pulled from my full length DPS guide video. As far as supports are concerned Bap is hitscan, Ana's scoped shots are hitscan, but Juno is projectile, however there is very little spread to hit and the travel distance is quite quick so it's almost hitscan but not quite

For the purpose of this video was only discussing DPS heroes. While yes tracer, sombra, and repaer technically are they are all such short range that they don't technically fall into a hitscan proper category

Beams are considered there own thing Hitscan heroes are the ones at range and who aim hitscan wise not just exclusively the ones with hitscan guns Tracer is flex/hitscan usually sombra and reaper are pure flex dps who just happen to be hitscan And supports are a different thing and have different uses and ways they function
