Easter Egger Not Laying - and a Story About Wry Neck
Can you use the boiled rhubarb after that as well? Maybe it can be thrown in a blender combine it with yogurt and oats, let it chill overnight and eat it then? Would that taste nice too maybe? I always try to use everything that's edible and try to throw out the least amount possible. Maybe it can also be used to make healthy cookie bars. Idk.
Just a suggestion please I see honey used in hot juice but you can use it in warm water. When you mix honey in hot water or liquid you loose enzymes that are beneficial n could be harmful. In Ayurvedic medicine honey is always in warm liquids.
Hey! Just popping in to see your juice recipe. Yum. Lil (hopefully) helpful hint-to get residual honey/syrup out of a container, add warm liquid, cover it, let it sit a few minutes and the warm liquid will liquify the honey/syrup and you’ll get the benefit!
i hope you learned to like rhubarb crumble, because you look like you are starving in this video!! and yes the leaves are not edible, for anything. toxic to all. good call!
My egger layer for a month or so and then stopped. She is a year now and had to vet and everything seems fine. My vet said that because of how they breed speciality chickens that it could be normal. So we just wait I guess. She is so sweet and the only one of my chicks that just loves to be in your lap she gets to stay egg or not lol!
This gal is awesome. Like the hat in the beginning. Thanks for the rhubarb juice recipe. Got over a hundred big fat rhubarb stalks that I don't know what to do with year after year. This year I don't want it all to go to waste, but my wife hates the stuff and I have no kids to eat it either. Maybe I can put it in the dog food to purge their parasites? Hmmmmmmmmmmm
I love your video. You are a strong, beautiful, confident content creator. Please remove that nose ring. It is cringeworthy. Carry on! 👍♥️
Thx for the recipe. I was not so enthusiastic of the sour taste but then something happend. I left it on the counter and in a few days it started to ferment. It is bubbly and so nice. Seems that it is called Kvass and it is delicious . You should really try it if you have the time. Thanks again :D
btw I used raw honey as a sweetener
Don't have time to play games like a little child
I wonder what dehydrating the broken down rhubarb would taste like - In powdered form? I’ll have to try it, don’t want to waste any food these days.

Omg thank you so much this is so refreshing and tasty 😀
Great little stove! I had one heating a 600sq ft log cabin in N Wis. with good hardwood I could have enough coals left for relighting after 8 hours. It makes good heat for 5-6 hours with a full load.
I am going to try it thanks
Hi guys! Looks like we are, or rather "were" at about the same point in our builds at this point. The first video I found on your channel was your Jotul stove instal video and then... I caught a glimpse of your cabin and it was just like looking at the cabin I'm currently building lol. I'm building completely by myself, so progress is slower than y'all's but it's getting there. I too bought 40 acres in the Rockies (Kootenai National Forest, Montana), and started building the cabin in 2022. The first build season (which is only 5-6 months where I live, if you're lucky) I was able to chop my way in to the property, clear a bit and get the foundation complete and this past build season (2023) I got all the framing done and dried in just before I had to boogie off the mountain. This coming season brings stove, plumbing, wiring/solar/wind setup, and well, ya know... pretty much everything else to be able to live up there year round (that's the hope anyways). Similar to you guys, I have about an hour drive to "town" and can totally relate to those challenges. My nearest year round neighbor is 13 miles away so borrowing a cup a sugar is kinda out of the question lol. I gotta give you guys props for chasing your dreams AND as a family with a little one, that takes guts and confidence not found easily these days. I'm going to catch myself up on all your videos now! I took tons of photos but almost no video, thanks for making yours and sharing with the world! Rock on Good Ol Ways!
The heat plate u have is up the rong way
Try your recipe this spring love rhubarb.🦋✨
Do u have a schematic layout of all your plumbing and vents? Maybe in skectch up?
kidney killer! The oxalates are sky high and the leaves are totally toxic that is why no animal will eat the leaves. Nobody should be eating this toxin.
You need to dig them out and replant(separate them) so every plant have enough room to grow. My mom have only one, but is huge because have plenty room to grow.Hope this help.
How much water to Rhubarb do you use
The leaves are poisonous our guinea pig died from eating them.
That's breast cancer waiting to happen juicing rhubarb. Maybe the boiling reduces the oxalate a bit depending how long.
To get rid of the oxalates you need to soak in lemon and water or add fresh lemon juice or lemon slices when simmering.
Who needs boobs anyways? I'm certainly tired of mine 😢
Why do you boil it instead of juicing it in a blender or juicer? I feel like you kill off all nutrients by cooking it? Thank you!
Rhubarb is a heavy feeder. Give it coffee grounds. You can also just move the crowns to a new location. No need to buy new plants.
I'm intrigued about juicing it with a blender instead of boiling it, have you ever tried?
Don’t do it! It took me close to an hour to clean the machine. I’m curious about a juicer since you don’t have to heat it up it might not destroy as much vitamin C.
That is ok for immediate fresh juice. If you have lots of Rhubarb stalks in your garden..you want to make juice this way so it will last.
Thankyou for this video. Dealing with this after getting my cycle back from breastfeeding. I hope it goes away when we’re done nursing.. nothing has helped so far. Other than knowing what it is and planning around the calendar. My husband actually sees how it takes me over and is so supportive thankfully. I can’t imagine where I’d be without the support I have.. considering medication as the thoughts are getting too overwhelming
Thank you for making a video of this topic, so many women suffer in silence.
Very nice Video liked 👍
Glad to see you using skis this time, the St. Francisville way!
Thanks for watching!
Wow so beautiful. I love nature. Best of luck @Juliene
