The last regular episode before the end of the compitition and it is not finished... yet... This is a bit different from usual. I am trying a new shorter style video with voice over. This saves a lot of editting time, which is nice, because i am getting in a bit of a hurry to get this guitar done! In this episode there is a looooot of progress made on my build for the great guitar buildoff 2021. The neck is glued in, fretboard glued on, the neck is shaped, the first humbucker is made, made a back plate, control cavities and most importantly: I die a little inside when I accidently destroy my inlay... Welcome to my new style of video, with little talking and a lot of building! Today (or basically the last weeks) I have inlayed a little Saturn planet thingie into my fretboard and made nice and curvy binding. Definitely loved the process and results.
