I started on the tenor banjo back in HS mid 60s Drove fr Tucson to the 1967 Contest when it was actually IN Topanga Canyon. David Lindley was the host announcer. This incredible 13 yr old fiddler blew everybody away with her rendition of "Mockingbird". Somewhere I have a reel to reel tape!

2013-53rd Annual. I had a blast it so sad that we don't know if we'll ever another festival. I took alot of pictures so I can look back at good memories. Pictures and ticket .I saved this video too.since I lisen to bluegrass you tube put this on my phone for me .such a great time and cmmerrodery. Hopefully we can have more festival's in the future..

I was searching for something and found this instead. I do admire a five string banjo, a flat back mandolin and a dobro guitar playing slide while the fiddle plays chords...
