I visited Yamasin Markets on N. King Street. I remember going to a store in Kalihi and asked them where to get breadfruit. They suggested Yamasin Markets, right across Farrington High School. They cater to a polynesian market, Samoan, Fijian, Hawaiian. I was looking for taro leaves and the shop keeper said they had it. Where? In the back, he said. They had some interesting items, like the Samoan bread.

After reading about the opening of a new beach access to Maunalua Bay in Portlock in Hawaii Kai, I decided to check it out. The entrance is not readily apparent, but I saw 3 surfer girls in the area enter a pathway with their surfboards and knew that that was the location of the new beach access. I made a small video of my trip.

I visited the Greek Marina Restaurant at the Koko Marina Shopping Center in Hawaii Kai this past Saturday. The food was healthy, but didn’t carry the heavy seasoning of some asian dishes. Ala Moana Centerstage A group from Brisbane, Australia gave an exhibition of a Haka and examples of Maori songs. They were a Maori group that was set up in Brisbane to preserve the Maori culture of transplanted New Zealanders. They had spent 10 days in Hawaii and had been hosted by families here. They were gratified at the hospitality that had been shown to them in Hawaii.

A better choice for cleaning the contacts would be CAIG DeOxit Contact Cleaner. DeOxit is very effective at cleaning contacts. That metal polish leaves a residue that's very difficult to completely remove unless you can disassemble the SD card slot enclosure.

Thanks, I'm going to try this on my camera. It's really frustrating to have a $1500 camera that can't properly read/write brand new SD cards anymore.
I didn't have Tarn-X, so I tried some isopropyl alcohol and it's working again! If I have any problems later, I'll go buy some Tarn-X.
