The wins of Nadal against Federer are crime against humanity. How he menaged always to find a way to beat Nadal. How?. Federer should have won this match, for his legacy. Back to back wins against other big 2 on clay would have been gratest achiewmenst of all time.

Without the rain, Djokovic would've lost in three. Nadal was just dominating him until it started to rain. This would've meant 12 consecutive sets lost to Nadal at the French Open. Ouch.

and without rain delay novak would won in 5. He dominate the last 8 games until rain delay

@@travisbickle5279 Poor, deluded Djokovic fans. They refuse to admit that the rain actually helped him. Nadal was up two sets to none and up 2-0 in the third before the rain started to affect the match.

I was a huge federer fan when i was younger- but now coming to appreciate how dominant djokovic has always been. Every amazing shot Roger would hit was usually answered back with an insane return- just couldn't get past this guy when he was at his best.

Looking back, I can’t believe it was his backhand that saved him on key points, especially at the end. It’s when he started to flatten it out and drive it, taking away time for Nadal

Rafa somehow had Rogers number for a few years there. But Rafa poses very little threat against a peak Djokovich on anything but clay. Roger at least usually made it extremely competitive. Even here on these super slow hard courts Roger rallies pretty hard. Its funny people think Djokovich is so amazing because before tennis slowed downs all the courts and balls to 'Tiger proof' tennis, Federer did tnis same thing to Novak routinely. They are both the best ever. Roger on faster courts, especially indoor courts. Novak on slower hard courts. Roger on faster grass courts. Novak (barely by 2 points over 5 hours lol) on slower grass courts. The best era of tennis ever. It was awesome watching them battle it out

Rafa was on fire in 2012. He had a great clay season, not to mention one of the best ever death matches at the Australian Open. He is underrated in 2012 because of Madrid on blue clay, but if Madrid had remained the red clay it was, he would have won the clay slam & Barcelona. I consider 2012 clay Rafa one of his peaks.

Faster courts are actually better for counterpunching in this match Djokovic used the speed of the court and Federer's shots to redirect the ball. He wasn't that agressive and he didn't have to be
