These over seas vendors are taking 5a cz and putting a coating on it to trick a diamond tester and are selling it as moissanite lol (harlem bling does the exact same so beware). 4:44 some companies will have 925 silver in the title but deep in the description it'll say brass + silver plating, so you do have to be careful for the bait and switch tactics they do, but if you buying in the states from a legit company you wouldnt need to worry at all but the price is gonna be alot considering genuine moissanite is around like $500 a carat. If your moissanite is not GIA certified I would say its not authentic. All moissanite that has a GRA certificate is fake just fyi to people out there

WTF?! You can use any diamond tester to test the thermal conductivity of the stone to differentiate between CZ & diamonds. It’s harder when comparing moisante to diamonds, you have to use an electrical conductivity tester, and even use blacklight when you’re doing it. You have to use ultrasound to check if it’s gold or silver.

Not to mention the fact that they charge $80+ for a piece of gold plated jewelry which is quite a bit to me, I could get a real 14 k gold bracelet or chain or even a pair of earrings for less than that
