I think her hair growth is mainly genetics along with good practices in the sense that she and someone else could do the same exact routine and her hair would still be way longerrr

I wont lie, mothers putting weave on their little daughters is problematic. This comes from mothers who did not work on their own hair enough to understand it and pass on knowledge to their daughters, so they do what they know how to do, get a weave on their daughter *smh.* I am all for weaves, but we need to also sit with and understand our natural hair as well. We can only teach our daughters what we know.

Not praising a childs natural beauty while growing up, especially through puberty only fosters feelings of insecurity, self hate and low self esteem as an adult.
