I personally believe the Pale King was insidious, I don’t think he *knew* the Hollow Knight would fail, but I do think he came to Hallownest out ego. He wanted something impossible, he wanted an eternal kingdom, and he took so much just to create the image of it, he took the faith of the moth tribe and thus subjecting the Radiance to her literal worst fear, he took the lives of his children with millions being in the Abyss, he took 3 dreamers and so many other lives. I believe he just wanted to satisfy his unending ego so much so that he dethroned gods and killed many. That’s just my headcanon for what the Pale King was like but uh yeah.

I don't know how I did it, but Zote ends his story in a cell below the arena for me. Seems like the best ending to me. Maybe I saved Bretta before finding Zote.

I've never killed Myla, and I never will. It's probably too much to hope for Team Cherry to one day give me a way to save her, but whatever it is, if they do... I'll do it.

1. Cloth. Both choices are good. You can give her honorable death and consume her dreams, leaving her in peace or let her live and find another adventure 2. Myla. Take radiance to the void, plague will dissapear. But if i remember correctly, these crystals driving miners insane, so she's doomed anyway 3. Zoth. Whatever you do he will die eventually lmao. He is really lucky to not die from literally any creature down below, his maximum is these little gray/white bugs in pathways. Im really surprised he wasn't killed instantly in deepnest
Funny thing is that Zote is our OLDEST brother. I mean, he is THE MOST IMPERFECT vessel out there. Like if Radiance would encounter him it probably couldn't effect him since - on - is + So basically he would kill Radiance with his talking.

There is no reason for "The Most Imperfect Vessel" to not exist and there is also no reason for Zote to NOT to be it. He literally refers to Pale King and Queen as Parents who Betrayed him. And if he wouldn't have been a Vessel he couldn't survive the Wasteland where were all the Vessels stranding until they head the Call))
@@fandango_boi nah that wasn't me joking. In this day and age we have many more reliable sources that makes us say that he isn't a vessel. The only one that stands up that makes sense is the fact that he could be the very first vessel ever made. But just the fact alone that it is stated that he comes from outside Hallownest just seals it. Your last part also doesn't really stand up since he most definitely would have died if not for the Knight. He quite simply came to Hallownest for the promise that he made to himself that he appearently achivies after the colosseum. True he mentions his mother, and father especially, both in a negative way. But it wouldn't be stupid to think that they just reject him for what he is and he resents them for that. (Referring to some actual bug parents, not Pale king or White lady) Also what doesn't make sense if he was a vessel... why doesn't he have even an ounce of darkness in himself? And don't mention GPZ since that's Bretta's imagination, coming from having been in a crush with the Knight which actually is darkness, and since Zote is alike she thought he would be similiar. So sure, as much as it is plausible that Zote could be the very first attempt at a vessel, buf how incompetent could the King have been to make such an "off" being to what he actually wanted? The general consensus that people have agreed on is that he is like Elderbug, deal with it
@@fandango_boihe isn't a vessel. he looks more similar to elderbug than the knight. he comes outside hallownest and doesn't refer to the pale king and white lady specifically, he just doesn't like his parents. and it doesn't make sense why he'd say "mothers will always betray you" because the vessels don't know their mother, except for the knight and the hollow knight. if that's an argument it'd make more sense for him to say "fathers will always betray you" assuming he got close to the top of the abyss, which he surely wouldn't have because he's zote. he also has a gender and mentions having a brother who asks him for forgiveness, which 1. he wouldn't have a brother if he was a vessel, since the vessels are genderless and hornet is their only other sibling, and 2. if he WAS referring to a vessel it wouldn't be able to ask him anything due to no voice to cry suffering. it doesn't make sense
I personally enjoy the Cloth ending I think that with her leaving she is just gonna get into a fight she can't win again but die a sad death instead that no one remembers.
