RUclips the starter relay. On a ls motor you can easily reach the starter and do all the testing there

You might be dealing with theft issue

@@xXSwaggie check to see if the starter has 12 volts on the big wire at all times

@@xXSwaggie if you have 12 volts all the time you have diagnosed a bad starter

@selectiveperformance6121 I just replaced the alternator and starter. Battery 12.5v+. It cranks when I supply power to #87 but wont turn over. Checked fuses and they're good. Suspecting bad ignition switch

@@wendellgreenidge3362 the vvts get worn down by the cam seals. The vvt cost an extra 1000$ to replace.

I’ve had dust developed around that seal

Dust will make it leak. Take that oring back out and make sure the sealing surfaces are clean. It’s a pain. Also there is a supply line that could be leaking on the side of the tank facing the engine aka supply line

@@ScarletRize ha my boss says use a bolt. I think I’ll save my self the hassle and continue to do it how I do it.

@@selectiveperformance6121 used cement glue. Stayed in place for 5 years up until I sold the car. The old rubber piece got brittle and the switch punched a hole through it. Doesn't help that Hyundai placed a hole directly behind where the rubber piece sat in the metal of the pedal. It was a common problem on the sonatas of that generation the brake light staying on because of it.

The hole is there so when you need to replace the actual switch you don't ha e to have something holding the break pedal down just to get the switch out because it's a tight enough space as it is when your upside down in the cabin 😂😂😂​@@ScarletRize

I would check the fuses first. Is it a Chrysler? If so it may have a bad tipm module

@@stephenp1717 that's what I did on the first vehicle. It was a Nissan Quest. I wish it had been that easy on the 2nd vehicle.

That’s a permanent fix. I’ve struggled a lot trying to get bolts in some models.

Please change them then.

Most motorcycle have the same procedure. look up free manuals for your year make and model. All my manuals are downloaded to Apple Books so I can have them on my phone

No the ignition switch was busted so it wouldn’t close the circuit on the starter

I evacuated and refilled the system to spec.
