Today feels like a good day for a soundbath. Enjoy the Plinky with Volca FM2, wingie2, RoAT, 3 Bastls with Nst-1, and a low drone from the werkstatt-01.
PLINKY! Dear Alex Evans.

My Dear Good Man, What a fantastic bit of kit you have created. I absolutly adore this creation, the plinky communities sprinkled about, the browser based editor, the simplicity obscured complexity of Plinky. To be honest I have become a bit obsessed now that I have one, just can't seem to stop fiddling about with it. I'm writing to extend my deepest gratitude to your parents for creating the b...
Plinky takes its place in Synthonaut SoundScape Lab

It's ¡PLINKY! at the center of the Synthonaut SoundScape Studio Laboratory. Plinky has no added outside effects. This is a simple sequence on Plinky using a strange made up sound built on Plinky patch editor on-line. Very easy to use sound editing browser based software. Acompaning are Bastl trio with nts-1, Rumble of Ancient Times with Wingie2, Korg Volca FM2 with a Launchkey midi running a mu...
Crazy 3 Bastl Patch

Same crazy patch as previously vid but this time I leave the Bastle ARP powered off, signals still being passively processed through but it completely changes the sounds being produced by the trio. Only the Bastl drum is routed to the Wingie2, the Kastle and ARP are routed to the Korg nts-1 for some chorus, delay, and reverb. A Litttle Bear passive mixer does the job. What a great trio, a super...

Plinky first touch

I found a PLINKY!!!! This is my first touch after turning it on. Here I have drawn out the release in the adsr envelope and I have added a bit of shimmering reverb, these are all on board Plinky tools and effects. I have been sampling old casset tapes and random sounds to try out the granular synth stuff Plinky can do, so glad to have found a Plinky! Enjoy!
Bullding a Hexophone Synth kit.

This cool bit of kit arrived today. The Hexophone witchcraft synth, 6 occilators, pot controlls, a starve, some filters, came with a bunch of bits and bobs that can be used, or other bits and valuse sub'd in for experimenting. Of course I switched up stuff right off, each occilator now has a capacitor of a different value, added the extra cap for bi pass, kit came with caps of all the same valu...
Messing with the Moog Werkstatt-01 and new Rat King Modular touch controller.

The Moog Werkstatt-01 with a Rat King Modular Alchemical Audio Touch Controller. The Rat midi controller goes great with the Moog and making moody ambient sound scapes. The controller kit was only available as B Stock due to sctatches on the touch pads. It was super easy and fun to put together. Turned out excellent and it completely changes how I am interacting with the Moog. I really like all...
Rat King Modular Alchemical Audio Touch Controller B- Stock Kit Build.

The kit is complete and powers up. I put quick build Lego stand offs into action. Next will be hooking it up to the Moog Werkstatt-01. The Legos lift the controller up to werkstatts height, they actually work well and are FUN!

Absolutely lovely
I'll be curious to see how you find your workflow on the Plinky.........I was very excited about getting one, but as great as it is, I just couldn't totally embrace it: ruclips.net/video/wx_KMp3-vvg/видео.html
I will be building this soon, just 10 bits and bobs to solder on, then some shallow ears so it can sit level with the Werkstatt. I think it's a neat bit of kit that will pair well with the Moog Werkstatt-01 and a Korg kaoss pad, maybe toss the old korg sequencer on there too.
Hi . I want to do the same as you. What filter ugrade you done ? Is like diy or can you buy ? Thanks very much
Thanks for watching, it all makes noise of some sort or another. Strange and cool, plus I totally agree, it looks cool to me too!
Love the experimentation 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Ooh niceee. I’m not sure what that equipment does but it looks really cool
Sweet Ambient 🔥 subscribed ✨️
Thanks for watching😊
Sirens of Space!
I did this in 2019. I siphon 3 times a year and add declorinated water when it needs it, careful not to fill too high as it messes with the light.
Do the plants grow OK with the biohome substrate?
Well, that was a waste of time..if you're doing a filter upgrade, share what you did
This is a used 4 gallon BiOrb I found with all the contents and like new in the box. I removed the carbon&zeolite and replaced with smallest biogravel bit & bacteria gel beads, added a set of pond filter foam doughnuts, & 2 pounds of biohome gravel. The BiOrb was very scuffed, scratched, & has 2 weird spots of heat damage maybe that dent in and that also frosted over the plastic around the shallow dents. Rubbing compound followed by polishing compound took all the scuffs, scratches & foggy frost right off & made it super shiny. This is day 1. The plants are java fern, amazon sword, nana petites, cabombas, & some duck weed. I have 2 more pounds of biogravel to put in & some cryptocoryne red. With the pond filter foam under the gravel, it really needs to have 4 pounds of biogravel to cover well and have live rooted plants. I have large bare foam spots under the pieces of slate. So far it is running well with stock air pump&air stone driving the under gravel foam filter upgrade. This project was inspired by the PondGuru
Really nice
Thanks, it's still going strong and the shrimps keep slowly growing.
Nice job! Can you tell us if it still working great after this time ?
Yes, well established now and home to 4 Amano Shrimp.
I got the upgrade a couple days ago tank is crystal clear and is running great so far so good - just need to add my fishes your tank looks great
It is really a great little tank with the upgrade, enjoy!
Hello! Nice styling! By the way do you know any automatic feeder for biOrb Classic 15??
How is it working now?
great...still with live plants and shrimp plus has a baby girl betta now.
I have just got a biorb classic 30 with many parts missing, including the filters and bubble tube and substrate, just ordered the biorb stuff then came across the upgrade video, would you recommend the upgrade over the original? And what plants have you got?
@@shailer2000 For sure the upgrade otherwise super hard to maintain and more like death ball for fish and plants. The upgrade is easy and keeps it super clean water quality. Plants and fish thrive. I have settled on java moss, java ferns, red coreopsis I think is the spelling and anubis nana. All the plants do well with the low level led light it came with and some daily natural window light. The 30 might have the reef one light but I dont know if it is any brighter. Happy BiOrbing!
How´s your tank going after 6 months? Do you have algea problems? Do your shrimps still live?
Going great, thanks for asking. I have only had a bit of algae and it is easy to remove/scrub with a magic eraser attached to a long chopstick. I have scrubbed twice since set up. The shrimps are well and I was successful at breeding betta so there is a tiny betta baby in the biorb now as well. Very relaxing and enjoyable to watch. Its a super low maintenance system with the biogravel/ foams upgrade.
Very nice!
This is day 2. An additional 2 pounds of biohome bio gravel & final 2 crypto red added. Also added an air valve to help regulate the air flow. The biorb classic 15 with filter upgrade appears to be working very well. 2 gallons of water from Horney Guppy Grotto was used for part of the start up water, 3 tiny guppy babies came along with the water & so are the first inhabitants of the BiOrb.
