Hello! I am VaultHS, another one of those TV preservation and archival channels. Here you will primarily see me uploading content from old TV broadcasts, primarily commercials. Most of these are tapes from my own collection. I also have the ability to record modern TV as well, but this will primarily be relegated only to things specifically relevant to old content. I will not upload full shows, ever.
I do not upload as frequently as other TV archive channels, for the reason that I go to very great lengths to ensure that my videos are in the best possible quality I can get. I upload everything at its full intended 60fps, upscaled to 720p to further decrease any losses to the low bitrate ceiling RUclips imposes at 480p. I also use a high-end VCR that applies time base correction and digital noise reduction so the original recordings look as good as they can.
All copyright always belongs to their respectful owners. Do not hesitate to contact me if you would prefer I removed anything.

Woah dude, more PBS content? Would you believe it?
Over this past Thanksgiving, my parents were in the process of moving and found a tape of unknown origin in their attic. We had no clue what was on it...and boy was I in for a treat when I looked. Not only were there home videos on it I didn't even know we had, there was also some PBS content on there. This is of the DFW metroplex's secondary PBS station, KDTN, back when it served that purpose. Today, that station serves as the Daystar network's flagship station, making this something of a relic of the past.
There really isn't a whole lot to this, it's primarily just the closing credits of Motorweek and some bumpers. Really not a whole lot ...

VHS doesn't look bad at all if it's recorded at SP. Put a VHS on a CRT and it looks perfectly fine. Plus, I like the stereo sound of VHS over dvd or bluray which is often too soft or unbalanced.

this was truly the last good year for CN, my favorite year from my childhood was 2007, but ive learned that 2008 had some really great stuff too. oh if i could only go back in time to watching these shows and commercials in the basement of the house i grew up in with my little brother.. playing runescape and watching CN, not a care in the world, ugh its enough to bring a tear to my eye. nothing is the same today.

I remember the PBS ONLINE screen used to creep me out as a kid for some reason. 😂
Btw the reason this was in a thrift store is because people use them as a garbage disposal and they get such high inventory that it’s hard to check every item, especially VHS tapes.
