I'm only 30 min. in the video and god damn..... after a year break of trying to find a UX job, this video confirms alot of the terribly flawed surface level undestanding that's constantly being perpetuated in this industry. This video SEVERELY needs to go viral for all the struggling UX designers like myeslf who's failed to secure a full time job after graduating from a masters.
So great that everyone was paying attention.
Thanks for sharing this! I'm a UI designer and often struggle with articulating and painting the story of my design solution(s) and I found this to be incredibly helpful. Articulating design decisions framework was a gem shared at the end of the talk. I.D.E.A.L Identify what problem we're solving. Describe your solution. Empathise with the user. Appeal to the business. Lock in the agreement.
