... Et ça a 30 ans. Bonjour l'implication à 350% dans ses projets ! 🙂
An extrodinary composition. Surpised! Don't get much better.
Sure miss you, Lyle
PAT METHENY IS UNSPEAKABLE
The most amazingly creative piece of music ever!
This is the best version
4:33 RIP Lyle Mays, I miss You!
I dont know who composed it,is it pat or lyle?
Have been listening it
God ! At the end always crying 😢
Try september fifteen.
If you have not listened PMG music........you lost music of gold.....
들으면 들을수록 곡에 대한 매력이 깊어지는 것이 이 세상의 음악이 아닌 거 같다.
The absolute best these guys. I can’t get enough of Pat and gang
This vibe in my veins...
I started listening to Pat in 1976, miss those days 😊.
crazy to think it's 30 years on from this, and even longer from the first Pat & Lyle I ever heard (American Garage), that era is gone unfortunately, but will never be forgotten for those of us who know it, this music is a blessing, a sacrament of a kind, a touchstone and a mirror of our lives
I think that this may be my favorite PMG composition. It is really pure genius. I could listen to it on a loop the entire day.
I'm a classical musician but have been devoted to jazz fusion since the late 70's when I first heard it and Pat Metheny was my first introduction to it. From that point on, the ongoing love affair I've had with his and their music together has spurred me on to see them live in concert numerous times here in Toronto since. I've had this clip stored in my browser for years and every time I watch it I get the same chills I've always had. The climactic build of this incredible piece of music right up until the end, when I feel like I'm falling off a cliff and utterly breathless, is pure Metheny magic. Those dancing parrots at the beginning - in time - are just the best! This video is the finest example of their very special group dynamic. Situated far away from each other, yet as tuned in with each other as they could ever be. Each and every musician here, eyes closed, has an otherworldly investment in what they're doing. It's always phenomenal to see Lyle with his magical fingers playing here again. RIP, what a loss. We have Lyle's supreme talent forever in our hearts.
I dont mind repeating this piece a thousand times.Eleasion, some of the scooting are common to the red indians which are spiritual in nature. The piano is time suspension, the off beat clapping is sooo ecstatic .
Lyle and I share a Bluegold past and this reminds me of my days in Eau Claire and actually meeting his cousin. Such a powerful sound and experience. These guys were amazing together and I miss Lyle
I’m almost 63 now and I remember hearing the day I fell in love with Pat and Lyle in the 70’s. San Lorenzo transformed me and moves me to joyful and settled places unknown and still does as this song. This song is also one of my all time favorite pieces of music. How does he/they do this? I’ve been a pro musician for decades. This is so healing and transforming and on another level. Thank you Pat & Lyle for helping shape and maintain my heart! RIP Lyle. I miss you everyday.
San Lorenzo and this one are my favorite pieces of theirs. Particularly the live version in Berlin 1978 for San Lorenzo. The piano solo in that utterly brilliant! I've never heard its equal!
@@brandenburg05 couldn’t agree more
Pat is wizard, with supernatural powers.
I Love this song, it takes me to a place and puts me in a space that's untouchable. Thank you for that.Much love Lyle you will be truly missed. Lady T From the Chi. Town

Lyle May's was the center piece of the Band. R I P Lyle
もはや言語は必要ない
Back in the 70s Lyle Mays was in the One O Clock Lab Band at No.Texas State University. They put out several albums over that period of which Mr.Mays wrote and arranged a number of the compositions. They are phenominal pieces that are unfortunately hard to find now days, unless im looking in the wrong places
This groups track's have such Enormity to them.
Lyle Mays MONSTER!!!!
Genius 👋
Lyle is something else
How much their music healed me and gave me the power to live. There is only the sound and tears from Lyle's beautiful fingertips.
374k views - about 300k of which are my own. Always come back to this one. Always.
If I had a wish come true that I could sing it would be to sing like Pedro Asnar
PMG has been with me for decades now, and this is really one of their greatest performances, a truly masterpiece. Thank you for this great gift to humanity
What an absolute monster of a pianist and composer Lyle was. This song never tires on me.
Possibly my favourite piece of music of all time. It’s a tie between this and Joni Mitchell
Thank you Mr May's for all of the musical journeys you took my on during your solos There was none like it and I doubt that there will be none like there ever again. The pat Matheny group is unmatched in every way Thanks again. From the bottom of my heart You are sorely missed.
