Darren King is genius behind the drum kit never gets the credit he deserves but maybe he's in it purely to play and for the music not to be a poser like Lars and some other cats, guy is special with a lovely style soul and groove whilst carriing on the manic job of great drummers before him...hope to see him live again sometime somewhere anywhere.
Went to every live show in Texas back when I was in high school. Met the whole crew at a coffee shop after a show one time. Talked to the drummer. I had been drumming myself for a few years. It was like talking to the final boss of my craft. Thanks for the chat Darren.
Reset is easily the best track... of the first 3 albums at least (haven't listened to their last 2). Someone already said it, it's so reminiscent of Radiohead's Everything In Its Right Place.
Damn. I see that the last comment is 4 years ago. Darren King left the band to start his own with his wife. David Hutchison has replaced him and has some big shoes to fill.
Think the first time was circa 2007, I saw them at The Water Rats In Charing Cross. Absolute belter of a gig in a tiny room. They may have done some UK festivals around this time, though can't say for sure. I saw them again a few years back at the Academy Islington, and I think they may have hit the UK once more maybe after DK left.
Its about time for this video to go out and get a job.
Winner.
This band , nowadays would have been huge.
This is basically Radiohead’s ‘Everything in its right place’ with a few things switched around. They are lucky they weren’t sued by them.
I love how they share the li😢melight ,#HS❤😊😊😊😊
MuteMath is one of the best bands and sorely missed. Luckily saw them live 2 times. Anyone know the venue this was filmed at?
Hey. Time Is The Enemy. Cheers!
Captures everything that is magical about MUTEMATH. Hope they set aside their differences and return someday. They are sorely missed.
dk roy and a new guy corey did a show in tn at a small drum called nelson. check it out
I praise God for the man who recorded this live recording years ago. Thanks to this song, I got to know Paul Meany, his next solo work. Amen 🙏👼🔥💯♥️
The most awesome performance from the genius that is and was MUTEMATH! Almost the Doors esq at the height of their powers

Oh my god, Paul ran over and did the effects for Darren's drums. That's amazing. You learn so many great details watching them play.

I was at this concert, and if you live twenty one pilots, thank MuteMath's influence

2022 in three days, but still my favourite since 2008 ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Happy New year y'all!
Imagine producing a record with weird glitch effects, sample retriggers etc etc. AND THAN PLAYING IT LIVE TO PERFECTION. Fuck me, that was phenomenal.
e bu sefer ne oluyor kanun içinde kanun olmaya başlıyor ...... Massaka
13 years ago we had a podcast called The Jagerbombcast. This was our theme song. So dope.
Was after Megadeth :|

These arseholes have never come to the UK..
Um, yes, they have. Several times
@@coldnebraskablue when and where?

@@coldnebraskablue I moved to the UK in 2009 so I missed that
@@coldnebraskablue I guess the demand is not there which is shame. The first album is too over produced they sound much better live.
This is just amazing
Still magic at the end of 2018
