You could just use a plate to phase through the wall, less walking.

It's not just Solitude. Dawnstar and Markarth also have hidden Khajiit vendor chests. Dawnstar is in the bushes next to the iron mine (not the quicksilver mine). And Markarth's is behind the stone wall near where the wood chopping block would be when the caravan set up their camp.

This still works? I used to do this 10 years ago. I thought they patched it.
