UNLOCK PISTOL SQUATS 🔓🦵
Просмотров 1,1 тыс.Месяц назад
Through years of practice and teaching others, I created this progression for developing the strength, mobility, and skill to do single leg squats. You should feel fairly comfortable with the movement or position you're working on before moving on to the next one. I recommend doing 5-15 reps on each side daily at a point in the progression where you feel comfortable. If you want to learn more a...

Keep it up bro 😎
What r u a momo? 😅
I guess yeah
YOU ARE A VERY GOOD TEACHER !!!!!!!
Ride on! Keep it up:)
Place your board directly in front of a curb Ollie into 50/50, this will help you keeping it straight.
just roll brah
Your lead shoulder starts to open up, just a little, and that triggers your hips to move, and this is because we naturally wanna land from a jump facing forward, you just gotta keep practicing and focus keeping your shoulders closed so your hips don't follow. Practicing slow moving Ollie's can help with this. you can also practice the Ollie motion without a board so u can feel the right landing. Oh and when u pop from a stand still your back wheels will go backwards a little which then causes your body to lean forward more which also triggers that frontside motion.
your mechanics are too prolonged/bringing your lead leg up too high, back leg stays down too long for an example of why this causes you to turn, do this - without your board, plant your back foot on the ground, and then go through the front leg mechanics, bring your lead leg/knee up high like in these clips. - your body will naturally turn frontside. id recommend shortening everything, go smaller & quicker. start with you front foot directly behind the bolts, and dont try to pop hard or jump high, just get really comfortable with small/medium ollies. then get comfortable doing it while rolling. then add small obstacles to ollie onto/over. start with just ply wood, then try a curb, etc. With good mechanics and the addition of some speed & obstacles, the height of your ollie will come much more naturally.
From watching I think its when you’re coming down your front foot is turning and turns the board which instinctively makes you turn your hips with it.
Ngl just start trying them while rolling it will keep your momentum in one direction and the motion will start to feel smoother
I wanna do this so bad!! I have had dreams that I can climb and monkey around like that effortlessly. I know in real life it definitely isn’t effortless but I’d still love to get to a point where I can do this somewhat easily
Awesome manual!
Keep it up man
Try sliding your right foot a little lower off the skateboard 😎I think your foot is a little to far forward that’s why it won’t stay on good luck! 😎
Do a heelflip down el toro next
you came along way already buddy! good stuff! keep it up!
ur picking it up so fast lol! I got my board about two months ago and I’m nowhere near your skill level lol
Are you skating every day, reflecting on your sessions, and looking for solutions to your barriers?
I recommend going to a skatepark I bet you’d pick it up quick and you’ll meet peeps to learn from too
Bro I’ve skated for 11 years and have never been able to balance on a manual lol, that’s awesome man
If you practiced using the method I used you’d probably get it just as fast
nice keep it up
Watching your shift was impressive! Because it made me think of what "dragging your foot up the board." really means. I don't think I can talk it out well, but basically when you slide your foot up, you should be thinking forward with your whole body. Imagine stepping up stairs: when you walk up stairs you shift your body over the foot that has gone up, when you Ollie you should do a similar shift over your nose. If you do your ollies rolling (even if it's just at a line) you'll probably notice this sense of travel better.
It’s much easier when you’re rolling forward a little bit
When your doing an Ollie moving lean forward and also slide up straight instead if sliding to the left
This is amazing my brother. Did u have any experience in other board sports like snowboarding or surfing?
Next is up and off a curb
Are you learning how to skateboard in both directions?
Not yet, just goofy for now
@@xpmovement You must, so you can switch it up and be real groovy and all that
Grip it and rip it my dude 😎
in your first attempts, you were moving your center of gravity back, try keeping it forwards. You are doing great man
Nice!!!
Bruh that Timelapse was cursed 😭
I think that shifting to the right when you're in the air is the problem. I have the same problem with my ollies
You got that just commit to your landing and keep your shoulders and hips square with the board
Sooo nice
day 45 of no helmet
Cool progression, thanks for posting.
No problem, happy training 🫡
respect🔥keep it up 👍, maybe try to relax your hand and your body i guess you’ll be able to maintain it to get better ollie
Try rolling up, checking your foot placement, eyeing down where you will land and pop at a good time to clear the object and then look back down at the board when you've cleared it
The higher you wanna go bring your front foot back more and lean forward not backwards
hell ya man just remember you can only ollie as high as you jump. get that back foot up as high as the front and you’ll notice a massive difference. also squat more before the ollie so you jump higher
Jeep the Progress💪💪
This video is sick! The music and the fact you post every bail until you get it! Pure mindset.
Thanks brother
i believe in you bro
