Family Friendly Activities - Carlow Garden Trail
Stunning house
Shout-out from Utah, USA. I'm Scott Butler. My 3rd great grandfather, William Butler, (himself the 3rd great grandson of Sir Thomas Butler, 3rd Baronet of Cloughgrenan and son of Edmund Butler), sailed to America in the 1850s and settled out here on the Western frontier. He was a bit of a rich boy in Ireland and gambled (horse races) his way into a big debt. He ran off to America. Here, he lived next to the transcontinental railroad and a rail road worker attacked and killed his daughter. He rounded up a posse and hunted the perpetrator down, leading to a gun fight where the assailant got final frontier justice. William Butler turned himself in to the sheriff and was exhonorated. He was also a Mormon polygamist who was arrested, appeared in a famous photo of jailed Mormon polygamists. Kind of a wild life.

I have hopes of visiting the Lace Gallery. In the mean time the book "Lace with a Twist" is absolutely fantastic. Great diagrams, descriptions, and graphics. Timely response to my ordering it. Can't wait to complete the first project.
Great to get some details of the women of the Butler family.
Nice place as well as a presentation. Is YouTubing just your hobby, or do you have any big dreams for the future?
Thanks for sharing this wonderful story.
