Rascal Flatts "Life is a Highway" Drum Cover (Roland TD-17)
Haven't uploaded anything in quite some time. I don't know how this song is really supposed to be played, so this is my own take on it. It felt pretty good when I played it, and I'm reasonably happy with the results.

One of the few rock songs where the drums could be considered a lead instrument. Sounds deceptively simple, but I found this really hard to play because it requires a lot of precision that I still don't quite have, and there are few cues in the song itself that you can cheat with to keep yourself in time, but I think I did well enough that I'm not embarrassed about uploading it.

Another song originally played by Rick Allen. I think he was like 17 years old when this song was recorded in the early 1980s. I'm reasonably happy with this cover. There are a couple of fills in the album version that I didn't add in just because I forgot about them. Maybe someday I'll flesh out my version and figure out how to incorporate them.
