Hi! @kellysher The over the ear sizes can differ depending if you get a t-coil or not. T-coil will be a bit bigger. The button can be set up as a program, volume control, or both; it depends how you and your provider agree to set them up. The 24 vs 20 level is the level of technology. the 24 level in any of Starkey's product is their top of the line product. When we refer to the top of the line, we are talking about the processing speed of the computer chip to process speech inose. The worse your hearing is or the more active lifestyle you have, it would be recommended to be in a top of the line product. As the number gets smaller in the models, the slower it will process speech and it can be more difficult to accommodate in noisy environments. Hopefully this clarifies some of your questions. As always, we recommend finding a provider who will do real ear measurements because if you do not get the prescription accurate to the hearing loss, then you are not maximizing the potential of the aids, especially the top of the line products. To make an appropriate recommendation, and since hearing loss is very unique to individuals, we recommend you make an appointment at our office and bring your audiogram if it is less than a year old and we can go over your options. Many patients do not realize they have options!

Your provider can send the devices in to have a button added for a volume control if you currently do not have one. If you do, then your provider needs to activate it in the software

Sounds like the microphone or receiver is going out. The aid more than likely needs to go into repair

Thank you, too, for your reply to my somewhat-limited review of the Phonak Sphere Infinio hearing aids. There are some positive aspects of these hearing aids, however the negatives far outweigh the positives. It doesn't matter how nice the TV connector works, for example, if the hearing aids won't stay connected. The primary reason I ordered this model hearing aids was for the highly touted speech in noise feature. That was a complete failure. Nothing more than sales hype. Very disappointing, to say the least. I don't believe there is a hearing aid out there that can solve the background noise problem. When the instrument amplifies sound, it amplifies ALL sound - including background noise - which cannot be separated from other sounds. I have resigned myself to the unfortunate fact that I will never be comfortable in noisy conditions, and I will have to continuously apologize to people for my having to ask them to repeat themselves because my very expensive hearing aids don't work. 🥺😡

Unfortunately this has been my experience with them. Been wearing them for a couple weeks. Maybe a little better in noisey environments, but nit that much. Certainly not worth $6K! I was VERY hopeful. 😢

@razor7241 Sorry you are experiencing the same disappointment that I had. I have tried them again, but in the meantime, I am trying Starkey's latest/greatest "Edge AI." They seem very good - better speech-in-noise, but not what I would characterize as great. Between the Phonak Sphere, Oticon Intent, and Starkey Edge AI, the Starkey is best for my needs as musician/guitarist, although my entire experience playing guitar while wearing hearing aids has been very disappointing and frustrating. I have arrived at the conclusion that my days of music performance have come to an end. 😔 I believe no hearing aid is capable of restoring my hearing to a level that would be acceptable for my needs as a musician. As for speech-in-noise, I think the Starkey Edge AI is superior to Phonak Sphere. That said, Phonak offers an accessory for hearing aids which is said to make a huge improvement in the speech-in-noise use. It is called the Roger On, 3rd edition. It supposedly works with many different brands of hearing aids. It is not exclusive to use with Phonak hearing aids. Looks very promising, HOWEVER, it is very expensive - like between $1700.00 and $2,000.00! It has many excellent functions, but more than I want to spend. Good luck in your search for the "perfect" hearing aids! Unfortunately, I think such a thing doesn't exist.

Hi yes only the 4. The closest to sienna is going to be sandalwood. There are more color options in the Lumity line including ocean blue, majesty purple, lava red, electric green, precious pink, and Caribbean pirate

have you tried hearing aids that have a decent amount of compression such as Resound or Signia? Those brands do well for those with sensitivity to noise

I have not fit one yet, but from the buzz, the reps are saying its quite the increase in speech in noise performance from the Lumity.

I am so sorry that is happening to you! I don’t see it as much in the Phonak line as I do in the Unitron models. If it was me I would have your provider send the aids in for repair/battery replacement.

@@siouxfallsaudiologyassocia7609 Been there, done that. That's how I ended up with the upgrade, bless its two-channel Bluetooth. It's only happened a couple of times with the Paradise in a couple of years. Glad to know, though, it's not just me!

No, it is more than likely the filter is plugged or the wire may have a short. if the filter and domes are new, then try rebooting your phone, hope that helps!
