After three weeks fighting with these Phonak Sphere 90I hearing aids, they will be going back to Phonak. They are worthless for speech in background noise. It's all sales hype. Very expensive mistake on my part. The other problem is they will not stay connected with my phone. 😡 VERY disappointing! Right after I got them, I attended a luncheon where there were 30 people talking over each other - two of whom were sitting next to me. I spent an hour reading the lips of the person sitting three feet across the table from me. I couldn't understand a thing she said because of the background noise. All the rave reviews are nothing more than sales hype. The connection problems are not due to an incompatibility problem with Android phone, as I had anticipated. I have the same connectivity problems with my iPhone as well. Phonak is trying to stuff too many complicated features and technology into these hearing aids. Period. They are not ready for prime time. I had such high hopes. VERY disappointing. 😔

My son is using phonak naida P50-PR since few months on both ears. Today suddenly in the evening the left ear machine stopped working. I can see the battery charge status in the app that I installed. I can put off and on. But the machine is not producing any sound when I put it on. The right machine give a sound while putting it on . Please help.

Can you confirm whether or not they are available in more than 4 colors? The brochure shows 10 different options and I would like the sienna red, but my local audiologist apparently can only choose from 4 options.

I'm Autistic and hard-of-hearing (both diagnosed). I have intense sensitivity to noise, but my ability to understand speech is impeded by sensory-neural hearing loss, background noise overstimulation and distraction, and intermittent aphasic comprehension. I have never, ever, adjusted to any hearing aids I've gotten in my life! I'd always followed audiologists' advice and they all seemed to think I would adjust to them eventually (even after five years of constant headaches and discomfort). I don't need to hear every freaking sound. I just need to understand speech when it is important to: with friends, at school, work, government, responsibilities, etc. I just wish these auditory torture devices had accessible alternatives that satisfies my needs while not being so damn overstimulating!

what does it mean when the hearing aid flashes 3x then stops then 3x again when its in the charger the left is fine i have a green light but the right wont turn on just flashed red i have bernafon

Interesting. I've had this problem during the five or six years I've had Phonak rechargeables, first Marvel, then Paradise. Phonak replaced the case (still had the problem, but less often), then upgraded the whole set (still happens, but less often). I was always able to restart the charge, without the 30/30 sec. trick, but I was hoping you'd say they were actually charged and the reset just woke them up. Sigh. Bummer to find them uncharged when I'm ready to go out the door!

The intro and exit music is on par with your speaking voice. Once the volume is set no more adjustment. Much more enjoyable.

I tried the reset on my Oticon OPN 1 rechargeable hearing aids, with no success. After reinserting into the charger, it blinks red. Are there any other alternatives? Thanks, Done

My hearing aid is charging, connecting to Bluetooth and turning on, I just can't hear it. When it turns on, the chime doesn't sound, and it doesn't amplify sound. Is this a known issue?

I had this done years a go as a kid in primary school my ears would itch like nobody's business my grandad took me to the doctor near my school and the stuff. Iyhooo the relief I felt was unbelievable I slept like a baby for the first time in a long while. I wasn't getting much sleep because they would itch at night not during the day. I don't know why they did that.

Heck i just picked up my first time hearing aide. The audiologist order the old version. Now im mad.

I want to get the Genesis IIC to replace my old Sound Lens, but I need a new canal impression. I have to find someone who uses the 3D scan technology so I can get a really deep impression. Putting silicone that close to the ear drum is too dicey for me.

Dr. Please check but I think there is no change in the chip. auto sense 5 is new as also I believe enhancement in technology of zoom/focus , speech discrimination/enhancement, speech directionality / reception , speech in noise. Other improvements not strictly hearing relate.
