The eagle "privy" on the 2018 coin is actually an Easter Egg homage to sculptor James Earle Fraser - designer of the Buffalo nickel. Fraser designed what is now called the Herbert Clark Hoover Department of Commerce Building in Washington D.C. which was home to the U.S. Patent Office in the early 1930's. The eagle design was included as a bas-relief cartouche and still exists on the building's 15th St. facade.

Oh I have and just gave my brother the Fireman over 4th of July this year one of my painted ASE with the twin towers & Memorial to those service lost that day and all the people at ground zero that suffered the effects of exposure to the thermal plasmite aka cancer ....a slow agonizing death unlike recent vaccinated victims that also had a slow agonizing effect while others just collapsed. Truth is truth no matter how painful or embarrassing. No reason to have such an extensive cover-up where so much more precious life is lost. END THE senseless WARS .

HIgh, Water. I like ASEs and nickels. I like the Reverse Proof ASEs. I was lucky to have gotten one of the 2019-S Enhanced Reverse Proof ASEs. I was even luckier to have received a grade of 70 on it from PCGS. I'm looking forward to all the ASEs for 2024. Especially the Reverse Proof. I really hope the Florida NASA design gets chosen. I think that would be a really good coin to hold onto. Everyone is sleeping on the innovation dollar program and can’t wait until it’s too late and everyone tries to find it in a panic. In 2001, the United States Mint produced American Buffalo Silver Dollars in proof and in uncirculated finishes. They commemorate the National Museum of the American Indian at the Smithsonian. Their design was the based on the Buffalo nickel.

Hi Water, In 2008, I picked up 1/4 oz gold Buffalos. I got one each in proof and matte. I wanted them because they were similar in size to the Buffalo Nickel, my favorite coin. I also got one 1/10 oz in the matte finish, with the idea of getting one yearly for my collection. Unfortunately, the Mint didn't continue making them. I also have the 08 Double Prosperity Buffalo in the red clamshell. I don't know of any other coin that came in a red clamshell. I have my 1/4 oz matte Buffalo in a Nimbus frame with my 2016 Centenniel coins. They make an excellent display. I wish the Mint would put out a matte gold Peace Dollar to add to that display. I also have the 2013 Reverse Proof Buffalo. I love my Buffalo herd. Have a wonderful weekend, My Friend.
