What are the possibilities in my pocket change?I went to the bank this morning to cash in my coins in the coin machine and when I went to the teller to get the cash back I received a 1889 Indian Head Penny from her.The first and I am sure the last time that will ever happen to me.I do occasionally get one in boxes but the odds of getting one in pocket change is astronomical!

These are mint employees not artists! All of the stupid stuff they've already did to the quarter is questionable at best and hold no substantial reason for the designs that is of honor. George Washington now faced the other way around and for what purpose? If they are going to change the designs on all US coinage, use the nickel design as an example and have the Presidents facing outwards.. Have a motif representing a suggestion to liberty such as the bald eagle or statue of Liberty or some historical land mark on the reverse but make it artistic! These are obviously designed by someone who has no idea what to put on our coins AT ALL!

All of those labels are gimmicks!!!! at the end of the day you have 1 oz of silver. These is no difference in the yearly sets and the single issues, the label does not make a coin. The coin stands on its own.

Good Morning Water . I Feel that the Star Privy ASE is the lowest mintage Bullion Coin . I bought a 100 MS70 Star Privy ASE . I received my order last week . The Emergency Coins I feel are Gimmick , as you stated . The First ASE Privy is a Mark of the first :-))

The writing is on the wall, coins are only used for 10% of commerce. The mint is becoming like the mint of Chad, Barbados or any other small country that makes “coins” that are novelty items. Many people will like these, I don’t with the premiums the mint charges.

HIgh Water, I collect the Native American dollars. I have collected the Sacagawea dollars since they were first minted in 2ooo. I like the Coin and Currency sets. I have included them in my NA$ collection. The designs on the NA$ have been outstanding. Have a waterfall weekend, Water.

The US Mint clearly does not have their priorities in order. It is unfortunate but true.

The communications coming from the US Mint is embarrassing. Just based on manufacturing ramp up timing these designs have to be already in process for the dies.
