    tested it with a old 2D image out of a game (cable car out of creatures 1) - i was suprised it recogniced what it was and produced something simila. We don't talk about the mesh. At this speed, i can remake my old childhood games in 3D for Vr chat in 1-3 years

      @@armandadvar6462 definitely not AAA quality but for testing and prototyping this is a pretty useful tool. Especially for the price and speed. As many have stated before this is the worst it can get.

      Some body morphing would be appreciated. I have seen some amazing creations that people have been able to generate using the Metahuman platform unfortunately it takes a ton of skill in Maya and substance painter to pull it off.

      @@inonakavya531 If you are planning on using it in something like a game engine or animations. My newest video goes over a system exactly like that. Taking a photo of a face and ending up with a Metahuman from Unreal Engine which is like AAA studio quality.

      @ Something like Rodin could pull it off but the resolution of the models and textures are low. To pull it off correctly you would have to divide it down into pieces such as head and face, torso, hands and feet. You would get maximum detail that way. Then you would have to rejoin the pieces in Blender.

      I am not sure about quickmagic. I don't have much experience there. I was testing Runways Act One last night which uses a video input to control facial animations. It's still a bit limited though.

      @@NeoSmoove True Meshy and Tripo have free monthly tokens. I have had the best success with overall quality in Rodin. Plus I don’t believe there is a multi image input for Meshy.

Those two issues Ai haven't solved yet and honestly are the main tasks the 3D community are asking a solution for. but even most plugins or auto Retopo tools are still going to require hands on adjustments. That is just part of workflow as a 3D artist. for now at least

    This multi image workflow is great for live-action 3D scans. Personally, I’m sticking to the single image pipeline for A.I. generative artworks.

      @@BDLabs2 after this experiment I have discovered the interpolation the img to 3D products use seems to be better than the SV3D outputs. I never would have guessed that originally

    to be honest, the single image output looks better, the ears of r4 are rounder, after using rodin (or roDAN, as r4 sometimes says) for a while now, i can say that it never gives you consistent results, sometimes it generates fairly decent stuff and sometimes it renders absolute trash, that thing being paywalled doesn't help either, if they're gonna charge they better produce better outputs than what they're currently delivering

      @@MarioTGP I completely agree. I have run into many issues this past week with many Ai programs and the change of payment methods. Across the board they are trying to output less for more money. Never been a fan of the credit system of payment. Like you mentioned , especially for random outputs.

    I have tested these for 2 months...Rodin it's good to make weapons...none are good to make 3d models like humans just objects on last not for free...it depends of what you have in mind...if is to create characters for video games use meta human it's free.

      @@mayckonwolf Metahuman is definitely a step above when it comes to character creation. If you check out some of the other videos on the channel. I have created a handful of characters using mainly Rodin. It is not great with humans especially from one single image. But for stylized characters such as the Robot in the video it does a pretty good job.

      @@Udjin80 I have not experimented with non humanoid characters yet. There are several options for modifying and masking bones for unconventional character types.

      @@Aye_Sid I am glad I can help. Yes the Accurig portion of the software is 100% free to use and export your rigged models. They also have their own library of characters and animations. Some free and others are paid.

    Actually Rodin models looks way better than Meshy ones, but the price gap with Meshy is ridicolous for commercial use. With the 20$ Meshy plan you can generate assets with a commercial license, while with Rodin you have to spend 60$ the first month and 120$ thereafter. As a solo developer, Rodin is not an option

    i can't get cura to open the stl from rodin without upscaling it 10000%. then it won't slice it once resized. all it shows is a shadow. what am i doing wrong?

      @@undeadly1103 I have noticed the meshes from Rodin are tiny. I usually scale them up in Blender. I am a noob at 3D Printing so unfortunately don’t have an answer. I have heard there is an extra process to properly convert the mesh so your slicing software will recognize it.

    Games in a claymation style has been done many times. I believe there's even a Kirby game in this style. The problem with claymation in the way you're doing it is the third person perspective and the framerate of the camera following the characters. That inserts and removes some important aspects of the feel and look of claymation, which usually is filmed with one static camera, shooting a still background with one or a bunch of characters moving.

      @@MarioTGP currently using a tool called Murf Ai. There are a ton of voices there and you just type in what you want the audio to be and it translates it in like seconds.

      @@MarioTGP R7’s originated there also. Unfortunately they removed support for that voice model. So I had to clone it in PlayHt which is similar to Murf.

      @ The original voices unfiltered were like 98% realistic. That tiny bit of synthetic made it feel unnatural. That is how R7 was born. I leaned into it and made a robot lol. The original filter was a bit crusher. Like an old See and Say toy. I think the cloned R7 may still have some of that just from the cloning process. Larry no longer has a filter. I just got lazy lol. It’s just pitched down 25% and at like a .9 speed because Ai reads and speaks really fast

      @@InfiniteColours with the latest updates. I feel like Rodin is still the best. That tool really dials on the base mesh. Some of the sharpest details yet. It also allows for multiple image references. They just added a face restore feature. I use all three tools for different use cases, but for character work. Rodin wins in its current state

      @@InfiniteColours Tripo is great also. There will be a video out this week showcasing their new update. The new update gives Rodin a run for It’s money with Image to 3D. Where Meshy really shines is Text to 3D. I use all 3 on a daily basis

      @ absolutely it will work for any game engine. I know Unreal has a special process for importing rigged characters.

      I don't think it will have that massive of an effect on the industry. Making a game takes a ton of different disciplines. Modeling is just one piece of the puzzle. I think in a world where every game has extra content like season passes, tools like these might be a breath of fresh air for developers.

    I have created a character but it has many imperfections (holes) what can be done? i want to print it

      @@vudutoy3591 may I ask which tool are you using? Also I always suggest for characters to be front facing and in an A-pose or T-pose.

      @@vudutoy3591 I did notice on my last test with Meshy, every once in a while especially with the text generation it would add some random holes and extra attachments. The only way to fix any defects would be to pull it into something like Blender and adjust it manually.

      @@vudutoy3591 Unfortunately even though the generations get extremely close depending on the complexity of the model there can still be defects. The best tool I have found on the market so far is Tripo. I am currently making props for the next video using solely Tripos Img to 3D
