i held off using the gift bag because achievements, then i remembered nobody myself included should ever care about achievements lmao its a vidya game who cares if i threw gortash out the window without any traps going off or whatever haha

i gotta say they dropped the ball hard on the loot system in this game. i dont even take time to identify items anymore, i know that ill find another item even better next time i level up. so i just carry a bunch of extra equipment around most of the time that could give me like 15 extra armor defense if i want to spend an hour minmaxing everybody, but then i fuck up my aerothurge level and cant teleport people anymore or something like that. i need to go to the mirror and make sure everyone can equip what i want, then set their points back up and give them better talents. i think almost all of them have bigger and better lmao. but even doing that its like... man i almost rather not have some of the skills and just get through the next part of the game cuz ill probably get an armor piece that solves most of my problems. or maybe i wont. who knows haha but yeah the gear in this game is frustrating, the menu system is worse than bg3 and thats saying a lot, and the gear is just uninspiring for sure lol. unless you find something that is like 100 points over what you are wearing only then does it make sense to try to gear up the party with new stuff

can you use ambidextrous with a shield and sword? or do i have to unequip the shield? nvm you answereed my question. i can use 2h weps but not duel weild or sns... so it should work on a bow ?

I have to use Escapist to cheese my honour run fights 😂 Here's how it goes: I make sure to start combat with my highest initiative character with Escapist. Then, I bring my teammate in and make sure one of them have the last move in the round (preferrably Fane). Then I deal damage with my Escapist character and leave 1 ap left to flee. Then I bring the character back to the fight on Fane's turn to sneak in one extra attack + Fane time warp. By doing this I can cheese 4 turns in the first round. Hope it helps those who struggle in honour like I do.

I wish I found this before I turned on improved organization.... What could go wrong? It honestly wouldn't be so bad if crafting menus or the like actually could find stuff in the bag. Anyways, great video. I definitely have not done anything with crafting yet and it seems like a game changer.

Ive been playing this for 2 hours its 100 times better than bg3 already. Best reason it actually runs. Bg3 is a laggy janky mess lol

I accidentally left the fort in Act 1 without doing the correct quests and I had no idea how I did it… Every fight left me burning and on fire. Right then I knew the game wasn’t for me.

Greatest single advice I can give to beginners is to choose a Strength based build for the first play through and PUMP YOUR PERSUASION! You will miss out on ton of dialogue without and strength base build will be useful because you will be standing next to main enemy 90% of the time at the beginning of combat🙏

Yeah, slayer form is underwhelming af. I thought i would be a death machine, you know. Paper cut deals more damage than slayer form

love escapist, helped a lot when things get out of control, especially when playing strategist mode.

I'm about to fully end that first island and I've completed DoS1 and it's been bit confusing as things have been changed quite a bit. Like that Warfare skill and physical damage is a good knowledge to have. I have it on my tank/cc character, but I never though like it could benefit my mage at all. That's actually bit stupid/weird design choice for the game.

Man playing BG3 then going to DOS2 is killing me i keep using my BG3 strats. Like talenting into opportunity attacks thinking it stops movement like it does in BG3 or using characters to try to sneak and realizing cones of vision cant be avoided at all

First you gotta jump to them so the kneel before you, then you make them bleed, next you enjoy the bloodbath.

Five Star Diner helped me and my friend kill The Devourer. We were both extremely close to death and had no chance of killing him. Suddenly my buddy has a lightbulb moment and casts shackle of pain on the dragon. We were undead and he starts chugging large health potions. The Devourer went from over half health to dead in 3AP.

I killed her in 2 turns with the slayer. Just hit her with vulnerability before and shes cooked

See to me this is where the real magic happens. The skin graft adrenaline or tp stacking for pyroclastic eruption is sly and brutal. I know skin graft and adrenaline is common and simple but it really sets up or sky rockets other combos like totems of necro and thick of the fight. Most crazy thing to discover in this video is traps use the stats of the placer while manually detonating them is more damage. Lot of little things to flex game knowledge or your intelligence. Now introducing modded spells makes shit way more complicated and interesting. Love the video m8

I think opportunist is great for the first two acts and then replace out as the enemy gets more abilities.
