After discovering your channel, I listened to this one after "Angel From Montgomery" and before that, "Atlantic City" and before that, "Gun Street Girl".. Who would need to modify her voice electronically when she can sing the way you do? And here you are with no studio walls reverberating and all the rest, but I hope you get your shot at those, too! All the autotuned pseudo-perfection in the world won't hold a guttering candle to the expressiveness in your vocals. I can only thank you for your musical gift. Astonishing performances, all of them.

Wow. Tom Waits puts a special stamp on his vocal performances, but when others cover his compositions, something wonderful often comes out of the song. I'm thinking of covers like the one Norah Jones did of "Long Way Home", or James Taylor's version of "Shiver Me Timbers" or any number of covers of "Heart of Saturday Night". Your cover here emphasizes the blue loneliness in "Gun Street Girl". Fabulous. Also, I give applause in noting the tasteful harmony overdub.
