It was getting a job outside Glasgow away from my old mates that finally broke me free from that cycle of being in and out of prison. Am up north now permanently and loving and living a normal life up here. Your right about support networks, every time a got out of prison a always had my mum and dad's to go back to. But other boys and friends in the system did not have that, so they would get out and be going into the toxic environment of a hostel or the streets, and they would be back in again within days or weeks. Ex prisoners need support to get a into job and there own flat.

It's sick how social worker's are giving more power over other people's children than the children parents by a corrupt uk system. When ever they do anything underage it is brushed under the carpet because the local council get money from the government to look after the children in their care. You can walk into the jobcentre and pick a job in social Work and 18 weeks later they are working with children. Each child is a Work load.

Sean get fucking in their and try do something about us fucking prisoners who have a life of jail jail jail these judges mate it don't need to always be jail jail jail so they need their nuts changing mate awe the fucking best to u mate fighting for fellow prisoners and u r right again most of these podcasts promote crime mate mental health will help your podcast in jails as I've done roughly 20 odds mate years same jail jail and they give fuck all help for mental health prisoners need some sort ah help bro keep it up bro

Barlinnie is an actual okay jail, done ma last sentence in 2017 after been in and out a prison most ma life. More chilled out than polmont thats for sure. A stuck to the gym and work party and the routine sorted ma head out. When a got out a got a job up north and now staying in Argyll. A grew up in Castlemilk and cant see myself ever going back there onwards and upwards. Good podcast enjoyed that lads take care.
