✅The way 1007 people chose to learn Korean : litt.ly/koreanpatterns262?E-VFBG7bfhM
Do you know what’s the best way to learn a language?
Undoubtedly, it’s “living in that country.”
But what if you cannot go to that country right away? Is there any other way to acquire a language enough, even at home?
If you’re looking for an answer to this question, you’ve come to the right place.
Because I’m the one who has been learning a new language without going abroad myself.
I’m a 100% native Korean and an active English learner. None of my entire family members has ever been to even a single country or city using English. I don’t even have a passport for real.
So, in this video, I’m gonna share specific w...

    If one looks past your dialect then your actual speaking skills in english are very good Im not saying every Korean person is bad at english but most Ive seen dont know how to speak english at all, I think it's not learned in school there? So you have to have a active intresst in english to learn it. And as I said Im honest your dialect is...well not english enough but thats not important, youre fluent when it comes to saying the actual words and make people understand you and thats important and its mind blowing that you managed to learn a language so unlike your own because its not the same language group. I myself am trying to learn your language and its hard, english is my second language too but we learnt at school and Im originally swedish so its both germanic languages. I hope I will, with your videos as help amongst other things, Becomes really good at korean. As good as you are in english 😊

    I think learning super basic grammar is important. But only the main structure of the sentence (in this case it's subject object verd), and a few other things here and there like how to make a question, tenses, etc. But if you go way to in-depth with it you will be over learning. Lots of learning comes naturally/overtime and if you try to learn everysingle thing thing that's how you'll become fluent, you won't really get anywhere

    • @davidkim_kr
      @davidkim_kr 6 дней назад

      First, thank you for sharing your perspective. I really appreciate that! Because I’m always open to many different views from mine! Back to the point, I’m not saying “do not learn grammar!” or “learning grammar is useless!” Here is exactly what I’ve said in this video. 01:18 “At this point, you might be curious like ‘So, you mean don’t ever think of learning Korean grammar?’ That’s not what I meant. You have to learn Korean grammar to be fluent in Korean. Otherwise, you would speak just a disordered, chaotic set of words.” However, as you already know, learning a language by learning only (or mainly) grammar is not effective. And that’s why I suggested the pattern learning method to help Korean learners learn not only sentence structures and their parts, but also grammar with way less stress. (I believe you’ve captured this point if you watched this video until the end!) Lastly, thank you so much for sharing your opinion again, and have a nice day!

In fact, I found your videos and I can understand all of them, haha, even though I’m not fluent in English. I believe that after consuming so much American content, my brain somehow understands English, but I currently have a huge barrier when it comes to speaking and writing. In short, I’ve decided to dive deeper into languages, and I want to become fluent in both English and Korean.
