Colorblind Dad Tries EnChroma Glasses - They worked!
Просмотров 291 тыс.8 лет назад
We gave my dad EnChroma glasses for his birthday and boy, did they work! I compiled all of the best footage of him when he tried them on for the first time. Here is a great video of the experience! We were in our backyard and then went to the grocery store. Please journey along with my dad as he sees more and more colors and is astonished by the color red! He does a wonderful job articulating e...

The first wearer that never flipped the glasses up & down! Though I’m sure I’d be guilty of that wanting instant before-after comparisons for everything that I’m seeing. I nice gentleman.

What a good dude and family. Clearly all very intelligent , articulate and well spoken. Also this video made me realize that non-color blind people think about colorblindness very differently from what it actually is (i think). We think its all about someone not being able to see Red and now they can - but it actually sounds equally about colors borderless-ly bleeding into each other and creating this “blob” effect Anyway thanks a ton for sharing. Great video.

He had some great things to say. Lots of wisdom in that man. Things like this remind me to be grateful for the things I take for granted. I'm so glad your dad got to experience all the beautiful colors. I praise God for leading the scientists, creating their great minds, and providing a way for people with color blindness to see His beautiful Creation! God bless you all! ❤

I bet it was Hurley’s good luck. That his alarm didn’t go off. The elevator was full. His driver wasn’t available. The car he bought from a stranger, broke down. Then when he hint it the airport, he checks in at the wrong terminal. Is luck or the powers of the numbers curse? His luck gets better while everyone else’s gets worse. His good luck tried to keep him off 815 but Hurley’s determination was too strong for fate/luck/ the numbers/god. Who ever it was, couldn’t slow down the fattest dude on the show. Never get between a mamas boy and his desire to see her on her birthday to avoid letting her down. Hurley really should have been the new Jacob. He had such a sweet and generous and care heart. As well as being humble, attentive to their problems and also he’s funny. Even when he kills others it’s kinda funny because he does it with a van lol Add all of that together and you get a leader that people want to follow…….because they know his heart has no malice inside. He even helped Michael after he learned what happened to Libby. He forgave Michael when he appeared to him in the last season. He wouldn’t rule the island from a distance like god. He be more Jesus, getting involved with people and their stories. According to my religious education above all else that can be debated, Jesus was a “people person”. He’d wanna get his hands dirty helping people, he’s wanna hear their stories and tell his own. He’d wanna build personal relationships with all the people on the island. Also I think Hurley would wanna make changes to the island. Make it safer, make it like a sanctuary for all the people who don’t fit In Normal society. Not because he’s trying to pick a replacement like Jacob, but simply because it’s a nice thing to do and if you can trust anybody on the show to unfailingly do the right noble thing when presented at a cross roads, it’s Hurley!

@@finegentleman7820 I’m actually an aspiring writer, so honestly, I can imagine no greater compliment. Thank you very much. I gave myself the deadline of write something you can try and sell by aged 30. After all that’s when Jesus started writing all his best material. I missed that deadline last march. So I’ve given myself a 3 year covid extension. I could make a joke that I promised my priest I’d have something ready for my 33rd birthday, but that seems a lot of work and lies just to make a joke about the modern day Roman army (catholic priests) coming for me.

My response when watching you all is ... tears in my eyes .. I am now in the early 50s, I found my son was color blind when he was 7 years old ... now he is 26 years old... Likewise, I still can't afford to buy him a pair of color blind glasses until now, when I had an accident in 2011 and finally lost my job in 2013 ... I am happy for all of you .... may God bless you all ..... take care of your health ...

Enchroma should be free. How do the colorblind drive among us if they can’t distinguish the signal lights? Intensity, yes, but it seems unfair , insurance should support this before viagra.

The most important thing is what his wife said in the very beginning: his mind is like cement. Then we hear what he is saying in the end: I just went for what I knew because it took to much mental effort to try to figure out new things, His whole approach to life, his cognitive processes were shaped by his color weakness. This is AMAZING! Much like those little kids who had difficulties in school because they needed glasses.
