8/18/2013 We were invited to "church" by our wonderful friend Loring Kydd who we were staying with for a few days prior to our yearly summer trip up to Stonington where we meet with our main group of friends. Mick isn't usually one for early mornings but the promises of good folks jamming (and Lobstermen at that!) was too much to resist. Sorry for the bit of chatter so close to the camera there...

Talking at this gathering was more than ok. It's a social event with singing. This wasn't some 'show'. It's literally mostly locals, mostly lobstermen, socializing and playing together. I've attended countless times. If there was ever any issue with chatter, trust me, old Steve would've made it clear. They weren't singing for your RUclips gratification.
